@nChrist and gang, I need to come up with the courage to get an injection in my pelvis under some kind of scanner so they can see whats wrong and where to inject. I heard it hurts, so I'm kind a big chicken

one more....Monday is my former husbands passing anniversary date

5 years it will be now

Its been dreadful so far

I truly feel that my life has been reduced

I needed my other half!!

I feel less than without a man -old fashioned I don't care, its true

He was my knight and my king

I can only speak for the shots that I get. They almost put me under with an IV to start with, and then they give me a smaller shot that dulls the pain for the big ones. I can honestly say that I hardly know when I get the big shots. I'm going to guess that it won't be nearly as bad as you're thinking. I'm a big chicken also when it comes to needles.

I'm sorry for your loss Hope, and know that anniversaries can be difficult. So can other dates. I pray that the grief can turn to pleasant memories. I don't think you're old-fashioned. Marriage is Biblical and can be hard to live without.

Having said that (and I have had many difficult years after losing a marriage), I would just add that it is Jesus who should be King (whether we're married or not). Trust Him and He won't let you down.

I am so sorry for your loss, I am with you in your grief, my son has been gone 3 years on Wednesday.

I thank God for the time I had him, and for my lovely grandchildren and daughter in law, although they can never replace my lovely son.

I'm still cancer free according to my last scope. I don't know how many more times they will have to check, but the scopes will soon go to 6 months instead of 3 months. I feel good and think that the cancer is behind me. Thank you Lord.
