is friend to Mary and I
Pat, sent Mary an email today, that mentions her son's need for a surgery

How are you doing these days?
I do hope you're feeling better and your rain has stopped - or is that an impossibility?

Congrats on your new princess.
Kate is amazingly beautiful - no fair to look that good right after giving birth.

Things warming up here - preparing for the (ugh) heat of the summer
when it's difficult to stay outdoors for long.
Two weeks ago had our 60th reunion from graduating from high school.
Really fun time but I'm happy it's over since I was the chairperson planning the parties.

Just learned yesterday that son Ben has a melanoma on his back.
Surgery next Wednesday and the drs. think it is shallow - not reaching deep.
Keep him in your prayers.
You're still at the top on my prayer list.
