prayer for controlling mother

Thank you for your prayers.
I went to church today...funny I didnt go for prayer as think am all prayed out, but I was talking to my lady friend at church who used to work with me and she said her daughter was in London, she said she hadnt visited but others in her family had and they stayed in student accomodations. In the summer holidays the students go home so the uni flats are free.

Maybe I could stay there, for a few weeks? I dont want impose on my sister, last time went there she was flatting and slept on the couch.

I dont know how long it takes to book things but can you pray about this..or give me some advice? The last time I went to london was ten years ago. There prolly wont be any jobs there unless I work in a pub. But maybe i just want to go for holiday (not working). Theres a lot of red tape to do oes and i think im too old now.

I only know one other person living in england...but i dont want to go on tiki tour again i just want to be in one place not do the tourist thing. I doubt they need librarians or teachers as all the libraries are closing down..but I would like to learn about english gardening. Or do some writing in residence. But last few times i attemptd to go sister just ummed and ahhed and it was like she didnt want me around :-(

Well i went to the travel agent today deciding maybe to do something about it and while it is expensive and Ive never done this before I might just fly to fiji and have a holiday at a resort for 5 days. Then i will get some vitamin D over winter.

And read my bible.

I am wondering if just book it and then tell my mother only a few days before i go. She cant make me cancel it like she once tried with my other holiday years ago.

Well, thanks for your prayers if anyone still reading this continue to pray..mum is taking the next two weeks off and I suggested we go on a road trip up north to see my brother and check out jobs and places up there.

Please let there be some new situation up there for me open up so that i can have a place of my own and to be able to earn a decent livng and not keep relying on the govt or off my savings. Somewhere new please!!

Shes just worried when she and dad get old and cant support me anymore whether im going to starve cos i dont have a secure job. I dont want to give God an ultimatum, but please can He do something cos nothing is happening where Im at now. Its very expensive to live in the city now.

Thanks for your prayers well update there is a job opening in this town we visited where my brother is temporarily working and im going to apply. And mum seems supportive that If i got this job i be able to stand on my own two feet she says.

Im just bit worried that if got the job i might get bored of it after a few months and then be stuck. Also id much prefer a job to do with plants, cos this one is public library and im not too keen to go back there...but its the only one available.

I would love my own place and then could have my own garden. I dont fancy renting but may have to at first before settling down. Can you please pray about that too.

Well, I sent my application off and hearing nothing back yet, so nothing to do but sit and wait...I wonder how many years it will take...
I heard nothing from my sister so theres no hope there, I dont want to go to UK anyway.
The house sitting thing was a bit of a waste of money...and pointless.

I havent been to church on sundays for over a month as there is nobody to go with. I am just too tired. But on the upside, so long as I have this slim hope mum has not been bugging me lately.

I wonder what shes going to do without me. Complain to the cat?

I need more help with prayer.

Lord Im asking you to change my mother and give her a new heart. please. I cant go on fighting and resisting and shutting the door when she criticses me.
Make her into your own daughter. Give her the love she never had from her parents. Show her that you love her and shower your blessings down. She worries about finances, shes impatient with me. You can turn that around and give her your provision and your patience and your peace.
Lord shes never read the bible and I have a bible in chinese that I left in her room. Please direct her to it. In jesus name I ask this. Also her friend that is christian give her the words to witness to her. Before its too late.

As for the job..i expressed interest in shelving library job and the garden centre but neither look likely to employ anybody...theres hundreds applying and only a few jobs. Lord you know whats best for me and what I can handle. I ask for favour and then maybe mum can see theres a God in Heaven.

Lord if shes listening to the radio I pray she may hear your word somehow on it.
Lord im planning on taking her out to yum cha one sunday with her friend who goes to the church she got married in town.., I dont know when it will be. Please make that happen. She may not want to go to church but Im sure you can give her a hunger to go! (Her god is her belly)

Also im reading about Jezebel spirits and if that is the case Lord I ask you to set me free and that anything of me that is not submitted to you please remove.

Lord also, we do have one of those ceramic chinese idols in our living room although nobody pays it any attention, but its not mine, its mums. What can I do about that? I think its the goddess of something thats sitting there in a lotus pose and holding prayer beads or rosary.
