CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This just proves that God puts His Good in everyone no matter how far they turn there is still a part of Him in all of us. It's never too late to turn to God while we are still here to Please and Serve Him as long as we Repent of our ways by returning to Him. We were all made I His Image, so we should Forgive all people no matter what they did because we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. In Christ alone am I able to forgive them and realize all of this. He is the only One able to Teach me this. [emoji169]

If you were drafted and ignored the call, you risked being imprisoned or even shot. Because of this, a lot of soldiers in the German military were not supporters of Hitler; they were simply common people caught between a rock and a hard place. Pope Benedict was actually one of these individuals, if you'll recall; he was drafted and forced to serve, then made the massively dangerous choice to desert his post and run towards Allied territory.
