I look forward to getting to know some of the posters here. I have a lot of questions - and a few answers - about the Christian walk. I believe that the role of believers is "to bless and be blessed" by other believers. My Christian philosophy can be defined in this short "mission" statement:

The only two things that matter in this world are our relationship with our creator and, a subset of that, our relationship with our fellow man. Everything else either enhances or detracts from those two things.

A side note: This site has the most agressive ads I've ever seen on any forum (I've been doing this since the 20th century). Ad videos start randomly playing - with sound - while I'm trying to type a post. Anybody know how to shut that off?

Hi and welcome to CF. To tone down the ads etc. I think a donation does that. Or I believe if you open a private browser, incognito or whatever your browser calls it the ads will be curbed.
