Ha, thanks. Their lights are on a timer to turn on at night and off in the morning, and hadn't switched off for the day yet due to the early hour when the picture was taken. I promise they don't leave their lights on all day.

We recently adopted him from family friends who moved to England and couldn't bring him with them. He's adorable!!!! More pics:

Ahh... That is tragic, but glad, they left him to your care! Looks like he just came from a successful fishing trip smiling and all!

Anyway, this is not your common jumping spider, this is the Bagheera Kiplingi. The world's ONLY vegetarian spider species! It is a jumping spider species....but prefers acacia leaves a lot more than insects. Looks more like a tiny robot with hair!

Anyway, this is not your common jumping spider, this is the Bagheera Kiplingi. The world's ONLY vegetarian spider species! It is a jumping spider species....but prefers acacia leaves a lot more than insects. Looks more like a tiny robot with hair!
