Three out of four college-educated Democrats seem to believe that a man can be a woman if he just says so, regardless of his biology, genetics, and genitalia, according to a skewed survey conducted by the Pew Research Center. source

I kid you not.
Its funny too how the head of the NAACP was found out to be a white woman who identified as black but was dismissed because she was not black.

I haven't checked the link but I guarantee you are either misrepresenting what this study claims, or the study is demonstrably unreliable.

And the rest of you also know it, but tow the party line.
Hmmm, who came up with the title to this thread? Didn't read the article very well.

I heard a medical professional stating that now, in Canada, your gender is the only thing that you can come into a doctors office and, despite the fact that you have male, or female, genitalia, and exhibit all the physical attributes of the gender that corresponds with the genitalia you have and the genitalia are functioning as any normal healthy male or female genitalia would and should function..... you can state that you "FEEL" like the other, opposite, sex and the doctor, or government, MUST accept the gender that you "FEEL" like you relate to as your actual gender.

How did we ever get this far off side?

You cannot state that you "feel" like you have a broken arm.
You cannot state that you "feel" like you are taller or shorter.
You cannot state that you "feel" like you are negroid, Caucasian or Asian.
You cannot state that you "feel" like you have (insert disease here).
You cannot state any of these or other like statements and have them accepted as truth, unless they are true...

This world is way beyond the point of no return.
Well thats not entirely so.... what if you had xxy chromosomes, then your genitalia might be a penis, you may think like a female and maybe even have breast tissue. Things arent always so cut and dry

And............just how many of the people in my daughters high school, who "feel" like they are the opposite gender to their physical state, are xxy?

The school had to convert 1/2 of the staff washrooms, which were comparable to a two piece washroom with a locking door, to gender non specific, in order to accommodate the sudden rise in males "feeling" like they were females and females "feeling" like they were actually males.

It was like, over summer, 10 % or more of the students got knocked on the head and awoke to be the opposite gender, in their minds.

So You are that Teacher?

What were the consiquesnces you had to face?

A) I'm not telling you my profession.
B) No matter what it is, the idea that one could legally get in trouble for such a mistake is disturbing for anyone with common sense.

Ever hear of the right wing "Soverign Citizen" movement?

They claim just that.

Because, you know, only socialists stop at socialist red lights.

Truly Free people ought be free and unbound by such government tyranny.

...that's not what a Sovereign Citizen is. Where would you even get that idea, the SPLC?

She was just before her time... That is now called Transracial. She will now probably be able to sue them for wrongful termination. Once common sense is out the window, the sky's the limit!

I don't understand your reasoning. Ezekiel seems to find Sodom's lack of care for the poor to be a real problem. So I am pretty sure God cares about the poor and the sick.

Well if your going to cherry pick one thing that God talks about then yes, democrats are great. But if you look at everything God talks about, democrats hate far more of the things God cares about.

I completely disagree. I hope you like your view up there on your cherry picker.;)

Jesus blessed the children. Democrats are generally in favor of abortion. See any conflict there?

Not really. I just thought I'd ask since it seemed like it was an obvious one.

Well I am talking about the whole Bible too. You pick your verses based on... Something. I don't know what. Jesus said the most important law was to love God and love your neighbor. And I hope we don't have to explain who one's neighbor is. If this is cherry picking I think we do not have the same Bible. The mocking tone this thread often devolves to is not loving. The non-Jewish churches were accepted but asked to contribute to the poor in Jerusalem. Anyway I could go on and on but I am pretty unmotivated to continue this discussion.

I find that about as offensive as any post I have ever seen on here. I could go on and on but I will try not to. I may read the TOS and see if you are in violation though.
I distinctly said, "No doubt I could be wrong in some cases. But I doubt very much that I am wrong in most. That's not to say that Republicans are Christians and Democrats are not." That makes my post not a judgement on his (or her) particular status before the Lord.

The addressee's comment to me concerning my post was, "That's a well-expressed position. Thank you for that."

Since the person my post was addressed to didn't find it personally offensive - I take it that he or she accepted it for what it was - i.e. my opinion on many if not most so called Christians compromising truth by being identified with the Democratic party or being "unable" to determine truth in the first place because they have never been born again.
I would answer that I find myself having to compromise far more of my Christian morals to identify as a Republican than I do as a Democrat, although neither of them is without flaw or fault. I know that my beliefs are distinctly unwelcome in the Republican Party, so naturally I do not feel I can vote for them with an honest heart. And when I look at the GOP's stances on issues, I most often find them to be based on flawed premises and a worldview I do not share.
I, on the other hand, find it not even close when it comes to compromising Christian morals. Funny how that can be.

I find the so called "lack" of Republican support on moral issues, such as help for the poor for instance, to be more of a matter of a different opinion as to how best to address such issue rather than a lack of compassion.

When it comes to sexual related issues and the abortion issue - the scriptures are pretty clear and IMO the difference between the two party's stances is obvious and profound.

By the way - thanks for not taking my comments personally. They were generalizations (which I stand by) and not meant to encompass your spiritual status in particular.
Are helping the poor, feeding the hungry and healing the sick (values you asserted are held by both republicans and democrats) morally upright, redeeming, “Christian” values to Hold or not?
Of course. Who has said otherwise?

It's a matter of whether the government printing money to simply give to the poor is the answer or whether there is a more fiscally responsible way of doing things. Even setting aside charity as such and concentrating on government programs -- the Republican ideas are more productive in the long run.

But speaking of charity:

Republicans are more charitable than Democrats and Europeans
You are kidding right?
You do realize that congress can pass and the president can sign into law, legislation that would effectively repeal roe, making it unenforceable, Don't you?
Roe V Wade was a Supreme Court decision and there is no reason to believe that such legislation would be found constitutional until a majority conservative court is in place.
See above. While that is one way, it is demonstrably not the only way.
Congress and the president can also repeal.
That's ridiculous.

Legislators cannot repeal a Supreme Court ruling. There is only one way to reverse that ruling and that is to have a conservative Supreme Court take on a particular case resulting in a ruling which give the opposite effect of Roe V Wade.
Conservative Majority All.
Praise the Lord.

A conservative Supreme Court may be in the offing.
So Where’s the repeal?
We've covered that.
What are they waiting for?
A conservative Supreme Court and an appropriate case.
Since you brought up the numbers, how many Babies do you estimate will die while they wait to act?
I have no idea. That's largely, but not solely, dependent on how many women are wiling to kill a child for their personal convenience and to escape their responsibilities.
As I said before, they will NEVER lift a finger.
They already are acting.

One Supreme Court justice down and hopefully one or two to go.
How many more babies have to die from today forward before you begin to hold the republican controlled US Government accountable for their inaction?
100?
1000?
10,000?
100,000??
1,000,000??
For me? The answer is none.

I have already begun to act by voting as a Republican rather than Democrat and looking for Republican candidates who are openly pro-life to support in primaries.

You - on the other hand - continue to openly support the killing of babies every time you vote Democrat or post in the way you have on internet forums.

But - getting back to the subject of the OP - some people get around the question of determining gender at birth simply by killing the baby no matter what sexual parts he or she would have been born with.

My daughter's school just made the biggest, most convenient girl's restroom into a "co-ed" restroom, which I think is the worst of all possible worlds. There already are too few women's restrooms and now girls don't have to use the restroom with boys who are transitioning into girls or girls who are transitioning into boys but wisely decide to avoid the boy's bathroom, but any male student who wants to use the girl's bathroom.

Actually she is an interesting example. Her parents adopted children of different ethnicities. This is a good thing and there are certainly kids I would adopt in a heartbeat who have spent a lot of time on my home and don't match our family ethnicity, but maybe the issue of race just wasn't handled in a way that worked for her. She didn't just wake up one day and declare herself black.

That's very true. The over arching point however, is regardless of her opinion about her racial identity, the fact is she is not black. Can we truly alter the physical reality of our race, genders, etc. by just believing (or wanting) them to be different? Maybe more to the point is should society "humor" us and agree with our self proclaimed reality? If so, is there any end to what we can claim to be?
