I have, and I like it a lot. It sets the scene well, though it is a bit skimpy on details. Especially on Luther's theology, which barely gets a mention. Oh well! If you are interested in a more historically accurate version, there have been some other incarnations of Luther's story that are closer to the mark. The 1953 film everybody knows, and is pretty good though whitewashed. A more obscure 1973 movie, also called "Luther", is my favorite portrayal, if you can find it anywhere. It's kind of slow by modern standards, but well written and well acted- Stacy Keach is Luther, and a young Judi Dench and Julian Glover are also on cast.In perusing all of the little symbol thingies next to your character, I see that you are a Lutheran. Have you seen movie Luther the one made in 2003 with Joseph Fiennes?

Oh, either one. The new one is certainly more entertaining, it's just my geeky side that likes the oldie.Oh ... so which one should I go for 1973 or 2003???

The 73 version is more accurate as far as Luther's Theology is concerned. The 03 version is in my humble opinion much better acted and portrays his agony over decisions better.Oh ... so which one should I go for 1973 or 2003???
