  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Pray for the Lord to protect Christians in the Dangs district of Gujarat. The poplation is mainly tribal people and a few Christians (five percent). Saturday 22nd April - North Korea

Recently we received and encouraging report from a Western visitor who spotted a North Korean Christian in a crowd. "She beamed and unobtrusively made a gesture indicating prayer," he said. Thank God for this woman, who risked her life by making this gesture. Pray she would know God is with her.

If you have a burden to pray for North Korea, log onto www.opendoorsuk.org, for seven days of prayer resources.

Monday 29th May - Saudi Arabia

Please persevere in praying for a breakthrough in this country, number 2 in the Worldwatch List for the fourth year. Pray for King Abdullah bin Abd Al-Saud, that Christians may have freedom to meet together and to share the Good News so that all will 'come to a knowledge of the truth' (1 Timothy 2:2-4).

I'm praying for religious freedom in Saudi Arabia. :prayer:

Thursday 1st June - Egypt

Please lift in prayer the four missing girls featured in Frontline (pages 2-3, order from www.opendoorsuk.org). They are representatives of many vulnerable Christian girls kidnapped or seduced by Muslim men in the hope of a better life. Pray that they will 'hold unswervingly' to their hope in Jesus (Hebrews 10:23). Prayer also for our co-workers, helping poor families resist the tempatation of turning to Islam for economic security.
