Saturday 13th January - Mexico

Please pray for Christians in the Campo Grande community. Caciques (tribal chiefs) have threatened to expel them. Pray that God will protect them and give them peace and confidence. Also pray for 22 Christian families in Tenejapa expelled from their homes two years ago. They have not been able to return until now.

Sunday 14th January - Colombia

Please pray for the young people who recently participated in a youth-training conference. They have been persecuted by an extremist group in their communites. Please pray that God will protect them so that they won't suffer repercussions for participating in this training.

Saturday 27th January - Syria

Praise God for the many ways that He has worked in the life of the Church in Syria. Praise God also for the wise leadership in the Church, which has made it possible for it to blossom even during the difficult cirumstances that the country has been through.

Sunday 28th January - Lebanon

Praise God that it was possible for most students to get back to school for yet enother term. This was something that nobody excepted last July and August. Pray that Church members all over the country will mobilise themselves to be salt and light through this difficult time and that the Church's leadership will be united and stand for the Truth.

Day 21 - North Korea

In september, Christians in South Korea sent baloons with Bible texts over the border. Thank God for the spreading of the Gospel, in whatever way. However, there is a danger of false teaching, there are already a number of leaders of sects, such as Falun Gong and Mr Moon. Thank God for the people who preach the gospel despirt the danger and pray that people will not believe in false prophets.
