Being isn't the same as doing.

-- A2SG, just like being straight comes before doing straight sex stuff....
Queer has actually become a socially term acceptable to use in the lgbt community. I’m not entirely sure what it means other than “not straight.”

Doesn't really make a difference for what I said. "Not straight" is good enough.

That's too bad. Was it the stork until then? Or the cabbage patch? Obviously you weren't raised on a farm

I was and I didn't until I was 11 or 12. I was watching the horses and cows I didn't question it until then.

I would never be in a position to demand that you treat someone as they would like to be treated. But if you didn't then I would treat you accordingly. You shouldn't expect any friendly chats at the water cooler or an invite to a few beers with some of the guys. But you have the temerity to complain that it would be bullying if someone found you unsympathetic, disrespectful and lacking empathy.

The chutzpah is off the scale.
I find it interesting that you think everyone would be on your side. I think you'd find yourself fairly alone at the water cooler if you really tried shutting someone out over pronouns. It would be your actions in an attempt to bully someone into using certain pronouns that would bother people.

Authoritarianism never really goes well. People know a bully when they see one. You see id be happy to go to lunch with Mary or coffee or whatever. I wouldn't say a thing to anyone about "Can you believe Mary lines she/her pronouns? Let's ostracize Mary. That'll teach her."

And I wouldn't say anything to anyone who wanted to use ehe/her pronouns either because I respect their decision and position. Unlike someone else I know.

They do exactly that in my grandkids school. It's optional. Extra curriculum. Some parents (very few) opt in. Some opt out and the others go to Ethics classes. Who on earth would oppose it?
Except drag queen story time is not optional in many schools. Same goes for most sexualization efforts by the left wing teachers.

Being queer" usually implies homosexual acts. Unless you mean something else by "being queer,"
At least you are starting to get what they say they are doing. But don't get too hyper focused on one thing.
It's not natural to attempt to shield kids from all knowledge of sex until puberty.
This has nothing to do with what I said.

It would be interesting to learn what it means to rjs330. His beef with DQSH appears to be that the drag queens are openly teaching little kids to "experiment with being queer" and I don't think that even he believes that they are teaching little kids to experiment with homosexual acts.

Well, it depends. Experiment with being queer can mean a lot of things.

Then feel free to provide documentation of sexual content being presented at a Drag Queen Story hour.

-- A2SG, somehow, Fox news and the rest of the right wing echo chamber seems to have missed that....

Just cause someone calls it anti-drag queen laws doesn't mean they are anti-drag queen laws. It's a long the same lines as the "don't say gay" laws people claimed were happening. It's not anti -drag qeen. They are anti-sexualization of children laws.

If queens just went into schools and read Cinderella or One Fish Two Fish, no one would say much if anything. There certainly wouldn't b any suggested legislation. But when you start to sexualize kids, teaching them how to twerk and find their queerness then that's something else entirely.

Look we have all kinds of laws and regulations that protect kids . Like porn laws. I support those as well.

It's simple, experimenting with your queerness is just that. Find you queer happy place and experimenting means trying out the various myriad of queer things untill you find your path. Which definitely includes experimenting with homosexuality and includes gender ideology, transgenderism or any other queer thing. It's an umbrella term that describes everything that is not straight and heterosexual.

So it's non-sexual behaviors that bother you as well. Is being swishy or campy a sin in itself even if you're straight?

Nah, being a man is what counts. You have to act like a man as well and be opposed to being effeminate and dressing in what might be considered a feminine manner.

If only there was a word that describes how you consider yourself to be more feminine or masculine versus your biological sex...

I don't believe swishy or campy is mentioned in scripture at all. I have a degree in Bible Literature and don't recall either of the original languages that include swishy or campy and there aren't any words that have been translated out of the original languages to be swishy or campy.

Sigh.... I believe this has been addressed over and over and over again. I don't know why you keep missing it. Are you just ignoring it?

And denied over and over and over again.
I know you keep denying that it has been addressed by making posts like you just did.

Do you need me to spell it out for you again? If I do will you just continue to perpetuate a false representation?
