You can raise your children however you want
But the schools could do a better job of protecting your children from whatever it is you want them protected from if they knew why and what it was, Liberals are very bad at this and you're not helping by being obscure about what it is. You cite examples like drag queens, but liberals see drag queens as basically harmless so they can't extend what they learn from that example to other things,

Schools should teach reading, writing, math, history and prepare students for college and careers. They are failing at this so what should make us believe they have any business teaching other things?

Yes, they are failing, but prohibiting them from teaching "other things" is not going to solve the problem because teaching "other things" is not what caused the problem in the first place.

It’s just something else they will do poorly

How will you keep your kids in a state of childhood innocence when their friends are going to drag shows?
It’s up to the parents in that situation

Groups like Freedom From Religion
I don't think they would. From their website:

'The Freedom From Religion Foundation works as an umbrella for those who are free from religion and are committed to the cherished principle of separation of state and church.'

We have the same separation here. That's why the religious class (specifically Christian) is extra curricula. As is the ethics class. The two classes just use schoolrooms and nobody has a problem with that. You can opt in to either or not.

If it was the case that only a religious class would be allowed then there's be a problem. Or if it was compulsory. Neither is the case. And I have no problem with it. If Freedom From Religion (or an equivalent group here) were to complain about it then I'd be arguing with them.

Incidently, there are about 5 or 6 children who go to the religious class. And about 50 whose parents have chosen ethics.

That does sound fair. I don’t want the government teaching any religion myself.

No, not the same reason at all.* But I'm sure some of the kids would find that hilarious as well. On the other hand, some years ago there was this guy who came around at Christmastime accurately dressed as a 4th century Anatolian Bishop. That was highly educational and interesting even for non-Christian kids.

*Note that secular opposition to your Christian values does not mean that the opposition is religious in any sense.
No I'm sure you don't think so, but it is the same thing. The opposition to the sexual indoctrination of children does not mean it's religious either. There are a lot of secular people who oppose it as well.

Pretty funny. I'll bet the kids thought it was hilarious
That's exactly why perverts want to start on the kids young. The kids have no idea what is being done to them. We adults so. The problem is some adults either don't care or are happy to see it done to them.

No, they're not teaching them to experiment with an "ideology." They're teaching them that it can be fun to be campy.
That's not what they say. They are teaching them to experiment with being queer. That's indoctrination.
Kids sexualize naturally and there is nothing you or I can do about it. What good does it do to pretend it isn't happening?
There is a natural progression of sexuality and sexualization. It's perverts that want to sexualize kids before they are supposed to find it through natural progression by sharing their their bizarre sexual fantasies and fetishes with them.

Evidently no one has done a very good job of convincing me that it is wrong.
No one can convince someone who has a broken moral compass that they have a broken moral compass if they aren't willing to consider it. Some have such a compass that is so damaged that it's beyond repair.

"Being queer" usually implies homosexual acts. Unless you mean something else by "being queer,"

It's not natural to attempt to shield kids from all knowledge of sex until puberty.

I don't think it's possible for parents to keep their kids from finding things out about sex.

I didn't know about sex until puberty. It's perfectly natural to learn about it then. Before then, you just don't have any understanding of what sex really is.

How does that keep them in a state of sexual innocence?
Since they are going through puberty they will need to know about their body eventually.

That's too bad. Was it the stork until then? Or the cabbage patch? Obviously you weren't raised on a farm
It's perfectly natural to learn about it then.
Bit late to have it all dumped on you like that.
Before then, you just don't have any understanding of what sex really is.
Before you learn about it you probably just have an imperfect understanding of it. Many of your adult colleagues in this forum seem to have an imperfect understanding of it even yet.

#1. I was young and innocent. I never gave it much thought other than we came from our mothers.
#2. Eh? Well it was going to happen eventually.
#3. Ok. I'm not sure what you mean, but ok.

Being isn't the same as doing.
