Do human beings consist of anything other than mass and energy? if so, what?
And I don't want vague answers like "sapience" or "intelligence" or "life"; I want concrete answers consisting of substances that all scientists say exist.
If there is a third substance that all scientists recognize that separates a human being from a rock or a lead pencil or a toothbrush, what is it?
Can you answer in one word, or two words tops?
Who are you equating to as the "I am"?There are no concrete measurements for I am.
So the next most obvious question would be, are you real (which is just a word, no different then God is a word)?
From the fact that it is only in HIM that we have our true beingNow where did you get that rabbit from ...
From the fact that it is only in HIM that we have our true being
And our striving will be a continue striving until we come to rest in HIM who is That TRUTH
What I want to know from these guys is if there is a third "thing" that exists, other thanmassmatter and energy, that makes up a human being and is just as well-known as the other two (matter & energy).
I rule out such things as sapience, intelligence, and life, because they can come back and say those are intangibles that really aren't studied in the physical sciences.
What's your point?Mass and energy are the only two things the physical sciences do study. That is why they are called the physical sciences.
