Indeed it is in the past tense. However if you said "God had placed Lucifer in charge of music" then this would infer that he is no longer in charge. It is like I said "I had him as a manager". Instead of " I placed him as a manager". Now when you say "God placed Lucifer in charge" then unless you show that Lucifer is no longer in charge then Lucifer is still in charge. Elementary my good man The Devil is in the details (Pun intended)

You mean agnostic. Technically everyone is agnostic. To be a true atheist, you would have to conclusively prove there is no God.

If God is "outside" the universe (which, by definition, is everything that exists), then that means God doesn't exist. AV is an atheist.


Don't even get me started on how demanding anyone to argue for the non-existence of anything is unreasonable. That's why we place the burden of proof on those making the positive claim (that deities exist). However, if you'd like to start another thread or send me a private message I will be more than happy to provide you with the evidence that the deity of the Christian religion, as believed by bible literalists, does not exist.

Atheism is based on belief, not proof. To be an atheist, all that is necessary is that you believe that there is no God. Similarly, theists are those that believe that there is a God (again, no conclusive proof necessary).

I really get a good idea at where the logic/thinking problems come from by reading peoples posts here.

You can believe anything you want to. It doesn't mean it is true.

How do you determine that "outside" the universe is non-existence?
