Ok, before this becomes a clown site for stupid comments I'll post. As an African American woman I'll help you all understand a few things. To understand blacks let's understand different people in general. Question for men, when a woman says she would like to be equal, do you guys say, well maybe if you women could become stronger than us or as strong, we can do something about it? Or maybe if women were drafted in tge wars we can talk about it. Ok so here's what I really think...if white men dont treat white women that they marry with full respect, how will blacks get respect? Someone said become color blind....do you become gender blind? Exactly. So let's talk about black on black crimes....what does black on black crimes have to do with equality? I don't expect a random black man on the street to respect me but I do expect for a cop that is supposedly taught to serve and protect to listen to me. Same for a white man off the street...if he called me the N word, that does not effect my life. But if a judge, police, my boss, drs, teachers, and government all against me....THAT WOULD BE A BIG PROBLEM. They are the ones who hold us back. Question white people....do you really care about black on black crime? No? Why? I'm going to assume because it doesn't effect you? As a 27 year old black woman I'd like to say I don't know anyone thats been shot and killed. But I do know that people get killed everyday. Do you guys know anyone that's been shot and killed? If being black is so dangerous compared to anyone else, why don't I know anyone that has been killed in a drive by, shot at stores, or anyone. I have families in the suburbs and in the hood. Funerals I've been to have been from old age or stroke. I'm not saying black on black crime doesn't happen but I'm about to post a few videos to help you understand my point of view in how we are treated in America. Also non of my black friends and family have been killed.

Its clear Far Side. Any 2 year old Christian understands that "RACE" is a lie.
I agree with that, I just didnt know what you were talking about. I feel there's no need to classify people as black, white,Hispanic or whatever like were animals. Were all people. And I never understood why it needed to be done when applying for jobs, schools ECT...like what for? But yah we literally are all connected to one another.

I know of lots of people that have been shot, hurt in drivebys,
and a whole lot more.
I was born at night but not last night.
I've seen way too many dead black people that died
a violent death at the hands of other black people.
I don't know of ONE cop that ever shot a black person in
my 22.5 year career.
If police shoot black criminals just maybe the shooting was
necessary?????
Just saying...........................
I could have shot people but didn't and am soooooo glad of that.

Why would it become a clown site? I make sure to restrict mean and offensive comments... I do agree that other people, non black people are killed unjustly and the media doesn't show that, I understand how that can make someone slighted, that has to change as well. Everyone matters, every life taken as we all come this way once and only once.

Black on black crime is very prevalent as other crimes. I can tell you first hand, my uncle was simply sitting on some steps and was shot because they mistook him for somebody else, while visiting his grandma in chi-town :/. This definitely deserve attention and a plan as well... Chicago imo has alot of demons running in and out its city for it to be so violent. A great start would be reaching the youth.

But I think that's the thing, when it comes to delicate matters like this..telling people to have thick skin isnt always helpful. That reminds me of my friend who had the courage to go to her schools counselor and open up about her depression and not in so many words , they just told her to get over it. Every person's experience is valid and feelings as well ... And if people have the courage to open up and share their experience of being slighted( whether white, black or other) it shouldn't be trivialized.

Al Sharpton:
A perfect example of a racist bigot unchecked.
His mouth always over rides his brain.
A man people love to hate.
A man right wing media loves to hate because he exposes racist politicians. How would a man who is famous for exposing and fighting racism look being a bigot? ^_^ That doesn't make any sense. Try again with someone else besides Jesse Jackson. You got an even worse case against him.

Let me tell you all something before I post videos, I grew up in what you would call a middle class "white" area. If I called the police over there, they would be there in a flash. Now that I've moved out of my parents house and is building myself up right now, I live in the hood. My house alarm went off and police were dispatched and I didn't see one cop. That's what you call white privilege. Now let's talk about crime. Watch this and get educated.

Now let's talk about racism and what it really is. I bet majority of you won't even get past the first 5 min because you're so stuck in who you are instead of really caring about the problem and fixing it

Al Sharpton has a lot of skeletons in his closet that even people on the left should be very concerned about. He doesn't really expose racism, but just tries to get on the bandwagon on issues in order to bolster his own image.

Also don't forget Al Sharpton has a history of anti-Jewish racism, and was partially responsible for a riot against Jewish people.

That is a right wing buzz word that has no real meaning. I'm sure the "race baiting" will stop when the "racism" stops

Really, racism is a leftist buzz word now, along with others such as Islamophobic and Homophobic but I digress.

I am not saying that there isn't racism out there. However, it is individual racism and not systematic racism. I want to fight racism just like the next person but they have to show me where the racism lies for me to do it instead of just shouting racism simply because it just must be out there somewhere... The left needs to stop seeing racism where there is none, and then the "race problem" will be reduced dramatically.

Its evident there's tension and anger..I can even see it cross over into the forums.

I think one obvious step is to of course hear each other out and make an effort to understand each person's point of view. However, the problem with that is that things can get heated really quickly and just deter from the intended goal.

Equality is what everyone is obviously crying from their soul, from whites concerning proper news coverage when it comes to black on white crimes..or just crimes period... To blacks with simple justice concerning white on black crimes ( these are just *some* of the things I heard) ...

However to do this it would require an unbiased mind...still a start would be nice.

Serious answers..only..

No pot stirrers.

Everyone is free to have an opinion..just let it add something to the goal of the thread.

First of all, I firmly believe that respect of persons based on skin color, especially from a Christian perspective, is a very vain and useless action to begin with not to mention the sin of it all. Needless to say the ONLY way to correct racial divide is through the word of God. Should Jesus return or when you take you last breath on this earth "What does it matter?"

When it comes to race issues most Christians either #1: cast true biblical applications aside or #2: behold to old traditions and faulty teaching and applications of the word of God. John 8:32 states "Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free". As with most scripture you can not get the revelation of this without meditating on it. You will be set free.

From my perspective most race issues stems from "Not knowing who we are in Christ". Regardless of what state I am in life, God supernaturally provides for me, heals me, delivers me, keeps me. Because we live in a fallen world I do endure injustice and lots of other stuff that comes as a result of living in this world. I stand for what Holy Spirit shows me. God is my source, not my job nor the individual who thinks he/she gave me the job..God tells me who to vote for...not some ad from television or political group....God is my protection...not the fact that I may or may not have a gun in my possession...and on and on. Although many jobs of which I was well qualified and performed well under compensated me in spite of my inquiry, God more than made up for it because I plant my seed and God supernaturally provides me with more than enough for myself and others.

Saints, we are called to "Walk by faith, not by Sight". In these last days where issues and opinions seem to be more complex than ever and when wrong appears to be right and vice versa, we must consult the true counsel of God first. It is getting more personal, not just following a group for the sake of agreement and tradition.

No, racism is systematic. You see that folks, no one wants to watch the videos for truth. They just want to speak and not listen.

^^ I don't think so.
There are a lot of responsible citizens with open minds who want
to remain informed.

Well give them a chance .... Also, if they're obligated to watch your videos be sure to watch there's as well to be fair.
