Ok, before this becomes a clown site for stupid comments I'll post. As an African American woman I'll help you all understand a few things. To understand blacks let's understand different people in general. Question for men, when a woman says she would like to be equal, do you guys say, well maybe if you women could become stronger than us or as strong, we can do something about it? Or maybe if women were drafted in tge wars we can talk about it. Ok so here's what I really think...if white men dont treat white women that they marry with full respect, how will blacks get respect? Someone said become color blind....do you become gender blind? Exactly. So let's talk about black on black crimes....what does black on black crimes have to do with equality? I don't expect a random black man on the street to respect me but I do expect for a cop that is supposedly taught to serve and protect to listen to me. Same for a white man off the street...if he called me the N word, that does not effect my life. But if a judge, police, my boss, drs, teachers, and government all against me....THAT WOULD BE A BIG PROBLEM. They are the ones who hold us back. Question white people....do you really care about black on black crime? No? Why? I'm going to assume because it doesn't effect you? As a 27 year old black woman I'd like to say I don't know anyone thats been shot and killed. But I do know that people get killed everyday. Do you guys know anyone that's been shot and killed? If being black is so dangerous compared to anyone else, why don't I know anyone that has been killed in a drive by, shot at stores, or anyone. I have families in the suburbs and in the hood. Funerals I've been to have been from old age or stroke. I'm not saying black on black crime doesn't happen but I'm about to post a few videos to help you understand my point of view in how we are treated in America. Also non of my black friends and family have been killed.
