America is caught in a tug-of-war that feels like it’s pulling the nation apart at the seams. On one side stands the radical left (woke left), proudly flying the banner of Marx’s vision of communism under the modern guise of “wokeness.” On the other side, a growing segment of the radical right (woke right), fed up (and hey, fair enough — their frustration with the left isn’t wrong) with the institutionalization of the Left’s agenda in our schools, media, and government, is beginning to embrace the rhetoric and logic of fascism.

What’s happening here is not new — it’s a dialectic at work. Philosophers like Hegel, and later Karl Marx, explained history as a process of thesis, antithesis, and synthesis. An idea or system (the thesis) is challenged by its opposite (the antithesis), and out of that clash comes a new state of affairs (the synthesis).

In the 20th century, we watched this play out in real time. The old monarchies and empires of Europe collapsed after World War I, and into that vacuum came two radical opposites: communism and fascism. Lenin’s Bolsheviks took Russia and promised a classless utopia by abolishing private property and dissolving traditional institutions. Fascists like Mussolini in Italy and Hitler in Germany rose up as a direct reaction, promising to crush communism with nationalism, authoritarian control, and corporatist economies.

The bigger problem is the church, which was created to spread love, is slowly being drug into the war. How do I spread the word when there isn't a church out there that hasn't taken a side; I'm not a preacher. Don't get me wrong it's not bad to field a specific political topic in a sermon and how the bible sees that particular topic, but it's a complete other thing to preach complete political blanket statements from the pulpit. I literally got told last Sunday that it was my Christian duty to vote for a particular political party, no context just that. On one side you have the woke left inciting violence, accepting money from foreign organizations to fund citizens to incite chaos, preaching communism (literally the opposite end of the spectrum of our current economic system which is capitalism), and several other harmful actions under the guise of freedom. On the other hand, you have the intolerant right spreading hate under the guise of defending principles, stealing the glory of retribution from God, so drunk on pride that they fail to see they are not justified or better than, they are sinners as we all are. The thing is that church and state were originally separated to keep this from happening. Politics are about what policies are best for the land, the nation's people as a whole, and the complete dominance in ideas and centralization of power for one political group is harmful. I'm pretty sure the book of Revelation has taught us that the Devil doesn't show up with horns and a pitchfork. He shows up with answers, solutions, policies that make sense, peace; it is only after he has absolute power and domination does he incite destruction. We need a division of power; we need both parties. Politics handles policies. It is our jobs as Christians to spread love. It doesn't matter who is in charge. They are the minority. If we spread love to everyone then they only control what is not important. How can I go out on the streets right now and convince someone to seek a haven in the church. Right now, I'd be leading them to the lion's den. The church needs to take a step back from politics and work on changing the people's hearts; the rest will fall into place.

I would argue that crony capitalism is worse than some forms of Marxism. The former uses the power of government to pass on benefits to only certain businesses through regulation and subsidies. Trump has added a bit of Marxism also by having the U.S. government buy stakes in companies like Intel with more purchases on the way. Trump also has been cheerleading USA investment by the hundreds of billions. Many might think this is great. The problem is that there are limited investment dollars and if investment is wasted it will certainly hurt the future. That is why capitalists prefer the market drives investment rather than government. Trump too has propelled crypto forward. Sometimes I make money trading. various kinds of stocks, currencies and commodities. But other than enahnce or subtract from my pocketbook, what is that creating? So many poeple making money off those who are essentially bagholders, left with the bills while another is left with the prize. In real estate Trump often created. His crypto and media ventures though are not creating much except the transfer of wealth to himself and those who funded his campaign. He has essentially rigged the system that way. Trump and sons' stake in crypto firm worth $5bn
America needs free from all sorts of bondages, including big government, debt, too much meddling, and self serving politicians. Trump rid the USA from some of the leftist extremes, but instead of draining the swamp he just changed the water. To me Sen Rand is one of the few that offer the USA the way out. Sure some, don't like that the idea of following international law as they prefer vigliante justice on the high seas. But just as Ron Paul his father voted against the war in Iraq, his son is raising principled objections to the blowing up of alleged drug dealer boats. From the two survivors, a Columbian and a man from Ecuador, can't people see that Trump has widened his war, widened the justification and created mission creep that is making the USA the drug police of all South America.
