You would have to -- else you wouldn't be able to use them interchangeably.
This mindset conveniently allows atheists to be able to claim they are "moral", when in reality, they are "ethical".
I see no difference between a "moral" choice and an "ethical" choice.
Moral- of, pertaining to, or concerned with the principles or rules of right conduct or the distinction between right and wrong.
Ethic- the body of moral principles or values governing or distinctive of a particular culture or group.
