misnomer sayings

Hi, I'm wanting to do a study on Christian sayings that while piffy are not biblically accurate. So I will give two examples to show you what I'm talking about. Then I want you all to chime in if you know any others. Thanks!

"That person is so heavenly minded they're no earthly good." (Phil. 3:20 - "For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:"

"Preach the gospel every day, if necessary use words." (Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God." - Romans 10:17)

Isn't that basically in the Bible? *even if not word for..* God's conversation with Job comes to mind.

Doesn't he give Job a big lecture about how God doesn't have to explain his actions to mere mortals? Such as why he allows suffering and whatnot?
