The HIV/AIDS epidemic in Africa exists because Christians and Christian preachers lied to the African people about the efficacy of condoms

No one has been more involved in Africa than we have. Even though my part was very very little. We did not lie to anyone about anything. Also lots of people have received their miracle and they have been healed of aids.

Here is a testimony from Africa. I know people here want more than just a testimony, but this is what we have:

"My life has tremendously changed. I have stopped drinking; and I no longer sleep with prostitutes, which I used to do. This awful behavior gave me AIDS, but God is good and should be glorified all the time. I have resumed school which I had stopped. Are you trying to say rape is NOT a sin. I said people that play around take a chance on catching a disease. That has NOTHING to do with innocent people who have a disease because of the sins of others. Although I was not aware of the "virgin cure" for aids. It sounds like the work of the devil. That sure is not a "solution" you would read about in the Bible. You can not cure your disease by defiling others.

The facts say otherwise. It is the involvement of Christians acting as Christians that caused the mess in Africa in the first place. HIV/AIDS does come about because of how the religious have brainwashed Africans into thinking that contraception (such as clergy, up to the Pope himself, preaching that condoms cause HIV/AIDS (source)).

Also lots of people have received their miracle and they have been healed of aids.

a) Prove it.
b) If God is willing to intervene and heal some people of HIV/AIDS, why doesn't he heal all people? Who is he to decide who should live or die?

No. I'm saying it's insulting to say that a woman who catches HIV/AIDS from being raped, did so because she 'played around'. The HIV/AIDS epidemic in Africa exists because of rape, and because of the interference of backwards-thinking religious institutions. So, to say that the epidemic exists because people 'play around' is at best ignorant, or at worst incredibly offensive.

Heck moving away from the HIV from rape link, the majority of HIV infected people in Romania in the late 90s to at least the mid 2000s were children under 13 in orphanages who caught it through tainted blood and syringes. Wonderful, I wish I did not know as much about it as I do. But if people are playing around then they need to educate themselves to the fact that they are living a high risk lifestyle.

Your argument that innocent people have aids because of the sins of others does not change the fact that not everyone with aids is so innocent. Many of them have no one to blame but themselves. Some people need to look before they leap in more ways then one.

I did The Catholic Church systematically prohibits the use of condoms, period. But here's another.

Churches - and, indeed, you - that claim that God cures HIV/AIDS through faith and prayer, are encouraging people to stop taking their medication (either directly, or by virtue of the fact that they're alleging cures to happened when none actually do). This causes deaths (source).

Show me this guy's viral load and CD4 counts. It's rather easy to quantify HIV infection, and quite easy to demonstrate if someone has been "healed" or not.
