Church–Canada (LCC) and The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) gathered for a joint pastoral conference, daily services, and an Annual Koinonia Coordination Meeting (AKCM) at the Mount Carmel Retreat and Conference Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The goal was to deepen personal relationships, theological understanding, and mutual commitment and planning for mission and ministry in Canada. Source

Our National Bishop, the Rev. Tim Teuscher is my former Pastor from St. Peter's in Stratford Ontario. God bless him and Pr. Harrison.
LCMS-ED has a new Bishop.

Unfortunately, the US church is allergic to bishops.
Is the President of the LCMS Church considered a bishop?

Asking in fellowship.

No. The US church steadfastly refuses to call the President or district presidents bishops. The Canadians may be doing differently.

While not an official title, it is an apt job description. I know many LCMS Clergy who would refer to their District and Synod Presidents as "my/our Bishop". When I introduce my Regional Pastor I introduce him as "my Bishop, the Rev. ...

We have a good rapport; my former Pastor called him "Lord Bishop"; I followed suit and he get's "Herr Bischof" from me on occasion. LOL.

Yes, in the LCMS English District we use Bishop and I've only ever heard our Bishop being called Bishop...not President. On the website we include President to avoid confusing our American Brothers and Sisters.

Ok. I’m getting different answers here, but I appreciate everyone for responding.

It can be confusing; the more conservative and confessional clergy (mostly from the eastern US will refer to their district president as "my Bishop"; where those from the more liberal west tend to dislike the term; there are exceptions.

Ah, thanks for clarifying.
