Faith according to hope...
Hope is that which looks to that which we do not yet have. For if we have it, why yet hope for it?
Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Ro 8:24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Ro 8:25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Acts 7:3 And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.
4 Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.
5 And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.

Why? Because God calleth things that are not yet as though they are.

Ro 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Hebrews 11:13 "but having seen them afar off".....

Joh 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
Joh 15:25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

Ge 22:12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
Ge 22:16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
We know that Abraham had an older son; Ishmael? What does the scriptures mean, "thine only son"?

Well we have this...….
De 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Law of sin and death; not law of life and death. The law of the Spirit of life.

The law of Moses is referred to in 2 Cor 3 and this is also connected to the tables of stone in the Ten Commandments . Paul says it’s ministration is done away abolished, yes he does,

2 Corinthians 3:7,11-15 “But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:...11. For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.12. Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:13. And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:14. But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.15. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.”
Moses hid his face as a sign unto them (Isaiah 59:2), the first set of tablets of stone were destroyed. YHWH wrote again the law on the second set of tablets of stone with his finger. Moses had to carve out of stone the two tablets. Paul the Pharisee spoke to the church with plain speech, not like Moses who hid his face from the people. The glory of his countenance was hidden; Paul the Pharisee sent a letter to the Corinthian church. Even to this day, when the law of Moses is read to the people their remain a veil to cover their hearts; their minds are blinded. They are not capable of seeing the face of Moses afar off, when the Torah is read. The veil is done away in Christ, we see the face of YHWH (Romans 10:4).

Ah yes, excellent citation.
What do you suppose the Lord means by saying," their law"?

So how does that relate to this?

Matthew 5:28
but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Is that person liable to the death penalty?
.... and liable to eternal judgment .
(one sin is enough. the penalty of sin is still death)

Since when does the political landscape shape the justice of God?

Perhaps the persons involved should commit suicide?
As it stands you should delete the second half of your post. It could lead someone to violently end their own life because of the insinuation which is ungodly and wrong.

[ you are to proclaim on Mount Gerizim the blessings, and on Mount Ebal the curses.]

as an exegetical comparison of these two mountains to the two men on either side of the Lord on the cross.

Which one do you suppose received a blessing?

Who hated him without cause?
quayin(Cain in the exegetical sense.

Do you possibly know what the Lord may have meant by, " their Torah"?

I personally believe that Jews along with all hebrews may understand the Lords reference here.

But what I know.

Cain murdered his brother without cause. Cain and Abel had the same father and mother. Did Cain honor his parents?

Exactly,
The answer is unequivocally No.

Hence a two fold testimony of," do not love as Cain had", and," the first command with a promise." is?

I'm still waiting for a reader to explore the two mountains and respond.

Jesus replied, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done.]

I also wonder which mountain the Lord is speaking of Here?

Would love to hear a response.

You are showing scripture about the glory, the vail, which is still over your eyes when you read the OT, and that vail/glory is done away with by Yeshua. For now with unclouded mind, with the reading, it is made plain by Yeshua. Like Yeshua said, "He came not to do away with the Law", but to reveal how it is to be walked.

Of course the Vail is upon the hearts of those who sat and sit in moses stead while desiring authority over their brethren. Which is why I imagine a Levite such as yochanon(john seperated himself from such.
The levites were to serve as a shadow till the Lord came. And yet when The Holy One visited the priest at the appointed time they(some) refused to relenquesh authority.
Except of course the levite who is likened to a tribe numbered in Revelation.

Blessings Always

To be more specific with Truth. (Or toruth as friend of mind once shared)
There needs to be two witnesses to convict and correct..

And if the one who caused offense refuses to listen, the two witnesses are to......?

We know that Abraham had an older son; Ishmael? What does the scriptures mean, "thine only son"?
Isaac was the sole heir.
As Hebrews says,
Heb 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. {be: or, be brought in }
Heb 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Where do we find this?
Gen 25:5 And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac.
6 But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.

Law of sin and death; not law of life and death. The law of the Spirit of life.
Rom 7:9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
