Lauren Hill is a confessed Christian. I don't know if she is making music any more.

Big and Rich are Christians and some of their southern rock/country songs reflect this... then they put out Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy... Go figure.

Toby Keith on Larry King one night said he was a Christian.

There is a great song out at the moment by Sting and May J Blige called "Whenever I Say Your Name" Check it out if you can. It is truely beautiful.

I find it interesting that people still want to know if Creed is a Christian band... This is from an interview with them, and is very similar to what they used to have in the FAQ section of their own website:


An aggressive, guitar-heavy sonic throwback — part metal, part grunge with a twist of Led Zeppelin — Creed has become a favorite of Christian teens captivated by the band’s optimism and biblical imagery. In fact, Breakaway guys keep asking me, "Is Creed a Christian band?" "[It’s] a question we’re asked a lot because of some of the references made in the lyrics," lead singer Scott Stapp explains on the group’s official Web site. "No, we are not a Christian band. A Christian band has an agenda to lead others to believe in their specific religious beliefs. We have no agenda!"

As individuals, they may or may not hold to Christian beliefs, but as a band, they are most certainly secular.

switchfoot still is christian, I saw them in concert not to long ago and they talked about their music and God and we prayed, Creed is not they worship Buddah or something another, Blindeside is christian as far as I know, and P.O.D. is contraversial, but they have really tight songs and they mention God alot as stated above.

Ruben Studdard just did a gospel album, and so did music legend Smokey Robinson, although I'm not really sure if he actually professes Christianity. Clay Aiken is on the Christian charts with hsi Christams CD, so one can assume he is a Christian.

I beg to differ...Creed does not worship Buddah (maybe something or another). In fact, Creed broke up and the former vocalist Scott Stapp is a Christian artist now. His new song is on the Passions:Songs CD. His Christian solo CD is coming soon.

By the way Creed is no longer a band..Scott left the band to persue his Christian recording and they got a new singer and are calling themselves something else now.
