BABerean2, I too agree that Revelation is not in chronological but is a series of overlapping visions

I see Revelation 4:1 through 20:10 consisting of seven overlapping Day of the Lord visions.

And Revelation 20:11 onward is an eighth vision of new beginnings on the day of God

Revelation 11:1-19 is particularly interesting being the middle or 4th of seven visions. It's as if this chapter begins on the reverse side of the scroll as it is flipped over and John is commanded "you must prophesy again about many peoples and nations and languages and kings"

This whole chapter 11 is one complete vision divided into two parts summarizing the beginning and the ending of the day of the Lord.

The first part, Revelation 11:1-13 chronicles the Two Witnesses at beginning of the day of the Lord.

While the second part Revelation 11:14-19 chronicles the 7th Trumpet at the end of the day of the Lord.

    Answer that question:
    What is Jesus harvesting ?

    (Answers below)

Obviously the harvesting of Revelation 14 happen after Revelation Chapter 11...thus the end of the story is NOT come yet by Revelation 11:15....

HINT REVELATION 14:9-14 is about a NEW DISPENSATION OF TIME with its own set of rules to be saved from God's wrath....
    REVELATION 14:9-14
And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, If any man worshippeth the beast and his image, and receiveth a mark on his forehead, or upon his hand, 10 he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 and the smoke of their torment goeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, they that worship the beast and his image, and whoso receiveth the mark of his name.

12 Here is the patience of the saints, they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

13 And I heard the voice from heaven saying, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.

14 And I saw, and behold, a white cloud; and on the cloud [I saw] one sitting like unto a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand sharp sickle.

Notice the second harvest that will follow LATER...which will be done by an angel....

    Answer that question :
What is the angel harvesting ?and when the WINEPRESS of the wrath of God will be in action ? ....

    HINT: Revelation 19:15
15 And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the WINEPRESS of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

Revelation 14:14-16 is about Jesus beginning to harvest the souls of the dead believers [who will die from natural death or being beheaded during the 42 months reign of the Beast]

    While that

Revelation 14:17-20 foretold what will happen MONTHS LATER ie-at the end of the Reign of the Beast- in Revelation 19:15-21
to those who will worship the Beast and take the mark ie the tares being gathered [by the angels]to be destroyed at Armageddon along with the world armies...

The gathering of the tares [those with the mark of the Beast]to be destroyed
    Luke 17:33-37 = Matthew 13:38-43
33 *Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it*; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

*This is referring to those taking the mark to save their physical life*

    Luke 17:34-37
Two kinds of survivors unto the Coming of Jesus ,those with the mark of the Beast and those without the mark [very few believers will have escaped being beheaded by the Beast>>> probably less than 100,000 ...Jesus will shorten those days -of the reign of the Beast for the elect sake-] ...

34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will THE EAGLES [the fowls] be gathered together.
    Revelation 19:15-21

15 And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

16 And he hath on his garment and on his thigh a name written, KINGS OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the FOWLS that fly in mid heaven, Come [and] be gathered together unto the great supper of God; 18 that ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of them that sit thereon, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, and small and great

Your biggest problem with all of this is that "the time of the judgment of the dead" has already happened in Revelation 11:18.
This proves that the book is not in chronological order.

This fact is confirmed by Christ returning "as a thief" at Armageddon in Revelation 16:15-16, and also returning on a horse in chapter 19. They are different visions of the same event.

Revelation 11:18 is NOT ABOUT THE COMING OF JESUS on the Earth
In Revelation 11:18 Jesus judge the DEAD ,.. NOT THOSE who are STILL ALIVE...

    2Ti 4:1  I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Jesus affirming His AUTHORITY by cleaning the house in Heaven from its undesired elements is mentioned in Revelation 12:10
    Revelation 12
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels [going forth] to war with the dragon; and the dragon warred and his angels; 8 And they prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.

10 And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the AUTHORITY of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accuseth them before our God day and night.

11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.

12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe for the earth and for the sea: because the devil is gone down unto you, having great wrath, knowing that he hath but a short time.

From that point on... until the Coming of Jesus there will be 42 months of the reign of the Beast as mentioned in Revelation 13.
Satan and the Beast and the False Prophet the satanic "trinity" taking the World over by imposing the mark and worship of the Beast.

That will be the time for those who are alive to chose their camp ...with the consequence mentioned in Revelation 14:9-13

That is how those who are alive[Revelation 14:9-13] during the 42 months reign of the beast will be judged .

Do you think some of the wicked angels are in heaven, now?

    2Pe_2:4  For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

Jud_1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

Ive stayed out of this never ending thread long enough for it to change topics so I'll weigh in here. Which angels are Peter and Jude talking about? I would claim that if you go back to Genesis you will see the sons of God saw the daughters of men were beautiful and they took wives from among them and there were giants in the land in those days (pre flood) and also afterwards. In Job the term sons of God is used to refer to Satan and other angels. Job 1
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan[fn] also came among them. 7 And the LORD said to Satan, “From where do you come?”
So Satan answered the LORD and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.” So in Genesis the giants are the offspring of the angels who did not keep their 1st estate. Satan was not one of these angels and if you look at the book of Enoch it plainly says 200 angles fell and they had 6 leaders all named. This is a fascinating study and it is obvious Satan sinned and still is the accuser of the brethren and has not yet been bound. As far as the future goes the changing of DNA is likely to come and could be part of teh mark of the beast. In Dan 2 there is a strange verse that speaks of the progression of the kingdoms of man according the the vision that Nebuchadnezzar had. It speaks of the last symbol of the kingdoms of man and says Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. 43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. 44 And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. 45 Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold—the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”

The futurist believes we are in the days of iron and clay and waiting for the 10 toes to show up . There is a strange verse mixed in that speaks of the iron and clay saying they will mingle with the seed of man but will not adhere to one another. If you mingle two things they are not the same. What is being mingled will be interesting. to see what it is.

This is talking about the angels who participated to the events of Genesis 6:1-4

Revelation 9:11 tell us who is the beast who will come out of the bottomless pit, that the World shall wonder whose name were not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb [Revelation 17:8]

Agreed ! Satan was not directly part of the event of Genesis 6:1-4 ...so he is free like a bird as proved by Job passage that you quoted...as well as the majority of the fallen angels ... (contrary to what BABerean2 think)

While the fallen angels who have participated to the events of Genesis 6:1-4 [number unknown] are actually locked into the bottomless pit [who will morph into the nasty creatures [the locusts like creatures with faces like men's]described in
Revelation 9:7 that will be commanded by Abaddon [Revelation 9:11]
    Revelation 9:7
7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared for war; and upon their heads as it were crowns like unto gold, and their faces were as men's faces.
-and 5 months later - they will morph into the 200 millions strange horselike creatures] described in
Revelation 9:15-17 that will be commanded [at that moment ]by the four angels actually bound under the Euphrates.

    Revelation 9:15-17
15 And the four angels were loosed, that had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, that they should kill the third part of men.

16 And the number of the armies of the horsemen was twice ten thousand times ten thousand: I heard the number of them.

17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates [as] of fire and of hyacinth and of brimstone: and the heads of lions; and out of their mouths proceedeth fire and smoke and brimstone.

The pseudo book of Enoch try to induce people in error about the real number of fallen angels who have participated to the Genesis 6:1-4 event ...
that was not 200 but more likely 200 millions now locked into the bottomless pit...

Abaddon [Revelation 9:11]the angel of the Bottomless pit will be THE AC....the Beast that the whole world shall wonder mentioned in Revelation 13 and Revelation 17:8
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall come up out of the bottomless pit, and to go into perdition.] And they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, [they] whose name hath not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast, how that he was, and is not, and shall come.

    Revelation 13
5 and there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and there was given to him authority to continue forty and two months.

6 And he opened his mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, [even] them that dwell in the heaven.

7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and there was given to him authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.

8 And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, [every one] whose name hath not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that hath been slain.

9 If any man hath an ear, let him hear.

If you drill a hole through the center of earth, you have a bottomless pit.

Guess you can put that into the category of useless information.

Or does that make TWO bottomless pits??

Are there two different groups of angels who sinned?

Are there wicked angels in heaven now?

Who is the man-child who will rule with a rod of Iron in Revelation 12, based on Psalm 2?
When was He called up to heaven?
Was this a past event ?

The pit where Satan is bound is the hole in the ground that held the Cross on which Jesus shed His Blood.

His Blood sacrifice at Calvary is the chain that binds Satan, instead of a chain made of steel.

Mat_12:29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

It is Jesus who is now at the right hand of the Father who has much prophecy still to fulfill. You can see in Zech 14 the day the LORD takes the throne of David as it describes the LORD (Jehovah) coming with his saints and it says after he has melted His enemies on a day that it is light at night that the LORD is king over all the earth and from that point on the nations are required to keep the feast of tabernacles or they will get no rain; so a clear continuation of life on earth from this point is established. It is specific that it says in that day the LORD's feet shall stand on the MT of Olives and it will split forming valley and a new river that will flow year round, again a proof of a continuation of events after the return of Jesus.

This is what Daniel say in ch 2 the stone cut without hands descending and crushing the image of mans kingdom and the stone becoming a great mountain that fills the earth and is a kingdom that will have no end. It is at this point that Satan is bound for 1000 years and the LORD separates the sheep and goats who get to start off the kingdom age as normal people. It is here that the promise to those beheaded for the gospel is fulfilled that they would live again and reign with him as well as those singing before the throne in Rev 5 that they too would one day rule and reign with Him upon the earth.

It is here that the promise deliverance that came by Zacharias in Luke 1 is accomplished. Israel will be delivered from their enemies by Jesus the horn of :, Israel will worship and serve without fear in righteousness and holiness all the days of their lives. Paul said blindness has come partially to Israel until this moment when they see Jesus and in that day (Zech 14) they will say the LORD is one. This is the declaration that Jesus is God and He and Jehovah are one. It is here that the promise of Jesus in Isaiah 61
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,
    And the day of vengeance of our God;
    To comfort all who mourn,
3 To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
    The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”
4 And they shall rebuild the old ruins,
They shall raise up the former desolations,
And they shall repair the ruined cities,
    The desolations of many generations.
5 Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks,
And the sons of the foreigner
Shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6 But you shall be named the priests of the LORD,
They shall call you the servants of our God.
You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles,
And in their glory you shall boast.
7 Instead of your shame you shall have double honor,
And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion.
    Therefore in their land they shall possess double;
    Everlasting joy shall be theirs.
    8 “For I, the LORD, love justice;
    I hate robbery for burnt offering;
I will direct their work in truth,
And will make with them an everlasting covenant.
9 Their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles,
And their offspring among the people.
All who see them shall acknowledge them,
That they are the posterity whom the LORD has blessed.”
10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD,
    My soul shall be joyful in my God;
For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation,
He has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the earth brings forth its bud,
As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth,
So the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Israel will mourn yes when they realize they were wrong all these years and have rejected Jesus and yet Jesus still saved them and is still wearing the wounds of the cross. as seen in Zech 12 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. 11 In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.[fn] 12 And the land shall mourn, every family by itself:

Jer 31 promised a new covenant and declared Israel would not cease to be a nation and a day would come when Israels gates would be established and torn no more forever. This is the day that security and forgiveness is also established.
3 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”
    35 Thus says the LORD,
Who gives the sun for a light by day,
The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night,
    Who disturbs the sea,
    And its waves roar
(The LORD of hosts is His name):
    36 “If those ordinances depart
From before Me, says the LORD,
Then the seed of Israel shall also cease
From being a nation before Me forever.”
    37 Thus says the LORD:
“If heaven above can be measured,
And the foundations of the earth searched out beneath,
I will also cast off all the seed of Israel
For all that they have done, says the LORD.
38 “Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that the city shall be built for the LORD from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate. 39 The surveyor’s line shall again extend straight forward over the hill Gareb; then it shall turn toward Goath. 40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields as far as the Brook Kidron, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, shall be holy to the LORD. It shall not be plucked up or thrown down anymore forever.”

Israel is the unfaithful bride of Hosea and here the LORD has bought her back and brought the nation under the new covenant. Their sins are now forgiven and the promised gates made secure and this day is linked to the mass amounts of dead bodies that are mentioned throughout the scriptures associated with the end of the tribulation at Meggido. This is a glorious day in which
For unto us a Child is born,
    Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
    Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
    There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

The throne of David is on earth. Luke one Gabriel to Mary
But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. 30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

68 “Blessed is the Lord God of Israel,
For He has visited and redeemed His people,
69 And has raised up a horn of salvation for us
In the house of His servant David,
70 As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets,
Who have been since the world began,
71 That we should be saved from our enemies
And from the hand of all who hate us,
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers
And to remember His holy covenant,
73 The oath which He swore to our father Abraham:
74 To grant us that we,
Being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
    Might serve Him without fear,
75 In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.

The key error in covenant theology is not looking at the covenant made with Abraham as a separate covenant than the one made with Moses. Zacharias mentions the covenant and oath God made with Abraham here noting the deliverance by the horn of salvation Jesus. When Jer promised a new covenant, he notes the covenant being replaced is the one made with Moses in the desert, not the one made with Abraham. Jer promised a time when Israels gates would never be thrown down again. Jesus coming as King of Kings is doing all this at his 2nd coming.

Lastly in acts when Jesus ascended from the mount of Olives they asked Him will you at this time restore the kingdom.
He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. The angels said Jesus would return just as they saw him go up. The LORD said to my Lord sit at my right hand until thy enemies are made thy footstool. At the 2nd coming all the dead bodies and all the enemies are destroyed. Jesus is off the throne and this is the time that the Father has placed under His authority. So much is tied together on the conclusion of the tribulation and the onset of the millennium. I made this a long answer tying many loos ends together showing they all can be taken quite literally and demonstrate that they will all be fulfilled with a literal futuristic view.

I am not a proponent of Reformed Covenant Theology, which was promoted by most of the Reformers.

The New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34 was spoken by Christ at the Last Supper and was fulfilled at Calvary.
This is confirmed by Hebrews 8:6-13.

The Sinai Covenant and the New Covenant are two completely different covenants as revealed by John 15:10, and Galatians chapter 4, and Hebrews 12:18-24.

The New Covenant has made the Old Covenant "obsolete" in Hebrews 8:13.
The New Covenant is "everlasting" in Hebrews 13:20.

Therefore, the Church Age does not end before the Second Coming of Christ.

In Galatians 3:16 we find that the Abrahamic promise was made only to the one seed, who is Christ, instead of the many seeds.

The Spirit prophesied in Zechariah 12 was poured out on the Day of Pentecost when about 3,000 of those who pierced Him repented and accepted the New Covenant, as revealed by Acts chapter 2.

On that day Paul addressed the crowd as "men of Judea", then as "men of Israel", and in Acts 2:36 as "all the house of Israel".

Have you decided to thrown the verses below out of your bible ?

    Revelation 20:1-3 KJV

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

If i remember correctly, you don't seem to believe in the Millennium reign of Jesus either (???)

    Revelation 20:4-8 KJV
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
