Pence would be less of a national embarrassment.
Nothing much would change.

The mainstream media has become unabashedly opposed to anyone other than a Democrat or a socialist. They savaged Bush. They savaged Romney. They savaged McCain. They would savage Pence. It's what they do ... and why so many people no longer pay attention to the rantings of the mainstream media.

Hmm, you all would prefer Pence being president? In that case, the Republican agenda would have a much better chance of passage,

As an observer from afar, I don’t think it’s so much a matter of each party’s agenda....it’s more a matter of the monumental embarrassment this incompetent is for your country...

I understand.

However, I am much more concerned with what laws are passed that affect us. I am not terribly concerned with whether the rest of the world considers the US (or our leaders) an embarrassment.

For example, under Pence, our healthcare would be gone, and this tax law would likely be much worse. And a Pence would have been much more successful in the coming fight against Democrats with regard to healthcare, immigration, and entitlements. So, for me, I DON'T want competence in the oval office if that means that a Republican president, senate and house efficiently cooperate to screw the middle and working classes.

And I understand you...

I guess my view is that you fight your battles as they appear.

Your current President needs to go, for any one of several reasons. If that means that he is replaced by someone with a disagreeable agenda, then you fight that agenda...

You know, I do appreciate Donald's notion of "America First" as a foundation for his policy decisions (even if I think he's dropping the ball when it comes to applying it), so forgive me for asking the obvious question here:

How does his decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital benefit America?

Great question to ask, and I think one would conclude that it actually is negative for the American people as it emboldens a regime that is engaged in ethnic cleansing (Israel) while angering both individuals and governments from around the world.

This hurts America is every conceivable way. It isn't America First, nor even America Second. It's putting the interests of the American people behind an ideology of ethnic cleansing and deception.

An ideology that Donald seems to share.

Less ‘America First’, more “America LOOK OVER THERE’
