"Peace in the Middle East"? How do you achieve peace with terrorists who say that they won't stop until Israel has been pushed into the sea, who do not withhold from fighting even when Palestinians are granted access to former Israeli land (the Gaza strip)? There is no sense negotiating with rabid dogs. They will never be appeased to the point of laying down their arms.

As for Pat Robertson, I don't put any stock in what he says. He has already made many false prophecies and said many insulting things over the years.

yes I am one who is looking forward to the fulfillment of the prophecy that God will come and banish ungodlyness from Jacob .......... full conversion of the Jews by Sovereign Grace!

This is not said of any other nation , God has not chosen any other nation ....... we (Gentiles) are grafted into the chosen nation.

God has not finished with Israel , The Lord doesn't change , the promise to Abraham and to Christ will be fulfilled.

Wordplay. God never "finished" with Israel in the first place because even today he still allows those who practice Judaism to come to him. The fact that he is gracious does not mean that prophecy went unfulfilled, nor does it mean that he will use "Israelites" to accomplish his purposes during the "millenium".

There is a difference.

Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Merely being an ethnic Jew - even if one is a genetic descendant of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob - does not make one a member or child of the true Israel of God.

Who are the "children of the promise?"

For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

I love everyone, that doesn't mean it's okay for Arabs to blow themselves up in pizza places or for Jews to fire rockets at car loads of women and children hoping to kill someone they suspect of being a terrorist. we should not judge who are or will be God's children.. everyday there are many people from different walks of life which learn the word of God in Jesus name.
