Scholar in training said:"Peace in the Middle East"? How do you achieve peace with terrorists who say that they won't stop until Israel has been pushed into the sea, who do not withhold from fighting even when Palestinians are granted access to former Israeli land (the Gaza strip)? There is no sense negotiating with rabid dogs. They will never be appeased to the point of laying down their arms.
As for Pat Robertson, I don't put any stock in what he says. He has already made many false prophecies and said many insulting things over the years.

We can agree on this. The Lord doesn't change
It already has been fulfilled in the person of Christ, whom the Jews (meaning, roughly, the Jewish leadership, and even then the Pharisees were not exactly aristocrats) rejected.the promise to Abraham and to Christ will be fulfilled.

Wordplay. God never "finished" with Israel in the first place because even today he still allows those who practice Judaism to come to him. The fact that he is gracious does not mean that prophecy went unfulfilled, nor does it mean that he will use "Israelites" to accomplish his purposes during the "millenium".
We can agree on this.
It already has been fulfilled in the person of Christ, whom the Jews (meaning, roughly, the Jewish leadership, and even then the Pharisees were not exactly aristocrats) rejected.

... Romans 11 predicts a positive future for the Jews , we are given 'Jewish status' through Christ .... there is only one bride of Christ , always has been always will be ...... THE JEWS , even if some rejected God , He does not return evil for evil ......... Paul wept over the Jews , Jesus wept over the Jews , and God Almighty has often times been in anguish over the Jews............ that is love , love in focus .

Judging does not necessarily preclude loving. Afterall, Jesus called the Pharisees the "brood of vipers" for the benefit of his listeners (and perhaps the Pharisees).GraceInHim said:Thy shall love one another
cygnusx1 said:yes I am one who is looking forward to the fulfillment of the prophecy that God will come and banish ungodlyness from Jacob .......... full conversion of the Jews by Sovereign Grace!
This is not said of any other nation , God has not chosen any other nation ....... we (Gentiles) are grafted into the chosen nation.![]()
God has not finished with Israel , The Lord doesn't change , the promise to Abraham and to Christ will be fulfilled.
Romans 9:6-8 said:Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
Galatians 4:22-31 said:For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

Maximus said:St. Paul wrote, "all Israel shall be saved" (Rom. 11:26), not "all Jews will be saved."
There is a difference.
Merely being an ethnic Jew - even if one is a genetic descendant of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob - does not make one a member or child of the true Israel of God.
Who are the "children of the promise?"
St. Paul, writing to the Gentile Galatians (descendants of Celtic invaders of Asia Minor), says, "Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of the promise," and again, "So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free."
In other words, we, the Christians, the children of the promise, are counted for the seed of Abraham, the true "Israel of God" (Galatians 6:16).
The "children of the bondwoman . . . born after the flesh," i.e., apostate national Israel, Jews according to fleshly descent, were cast out for their lack of faith in Christ.
The Church is the true Israel. Within her all those Jews and Gentiles who have true faith in Christ are made one in His Body (Ephesians 2:11-14).
Near the time of the end many Jews will be converted to Christ and brought into the true Israel. Once all of the people - Jew and Gentile - who are to be saved have been brought into Israel (the Church), "so that all Israel will be saved," the Lord will return the second time to earth.
There is only one people of God and there has only ever been one people of God: the children of the promise, who live by the faith of Abraham in Christ.
