I believe I heard that sharia law, when it is in full force, condemns with the death penalty anyone who confesses that Jesus is the Son of God.

Condemning infidels and heretics to death and to torture-followed-by-death is not a new trick for religious authorities over the past 2000 years.

But it is totally alien to the Gospel and to Christians who follow the Bible.

Sorry to butt in, but I will answer your question for him.

The book of Revelation is a prophetic book that tells us things to come; it is in no way a mandate for things that Jesus taught against.
