  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Former Islamist Martyred for Christ

[5] prayers in [1] nation have been posted for caregiver and son.
Christian women in Nigeria are particularly vulnerable during Islamist attacks.
A Christian, his wife and their newborn daughter were killed by members of the man's former terrorist group. Moustafa was a prominent leader in the group, and one night he snuck into a Christian meeting, intending to cause trouble. But as a Christian woman shared about God's coming judgment, his heart was touched, and he became a follower of Christ. When he told his terrorist group about his new faith, they tried to burn him to death. He survived for three months, visited by many Islamist friends who became followers of Christ through his witness. Read More.

Christian Love Amid Persecution Draws Family to Christ

[4] prayers in [1] nation have been posted for Jer Sua's family.
Jer Sua's son and daughter-in-law decided to follow the Lord after witnessing the unity and love of the body of Christ.
The support of Christians for a deceased believer's family has drawn his children to Christ. When Jer Sua came to faith in Christ in 2023 at the age of 64, he was already sick, and he died on May 23, 2025. Though it is customary in Lao culture for villagers to collect money to help the deceased's family, the village chief refused not only the collection but also denied him a burial plot in the cemetery. Because Jer Sua's illness had depleted his family's resources, they could not even prepare food for the funeral. However, Christians in the village came alongside the family, giving them rice and money. Read More.
