Tis nothing to do with looks more Gods timing. Have a look around you and you will see that people of all shapes and sizes some fat some thin etc do have husbands and wives. The enemy will want you to feel unloved and unattractive. God doesnt want you to be married to the wrong persopn cause he loves you and wants whats best for you just trust him that he will bring the right person at the right time.

What i'm saying is..do you go for christian people?

Yes I do go for single Christian men. Most of the Christian men in my church are already married or dating someone. The ones who are single aren't interested in me. There is one guy who goes to my school and church, he always smiles and says hi to me but I am too shy to talk to him.

Why is it that the good ones are taken and the bad ones aren't? It always seems that way you know!

Nahh...I can't speak for myself but I know quite a few men who would make great husbands (I'm also priveleged to know quite a few women who would make great wives.) And they're ALL single! But is that really what matters?

"hi!"

lol. :D Hello. Saying hi isn't the problem to my shyness, it is talking to a guy that is the hard part. I turn all red and get nervous around a guy that I like. I don't like anyone right now but I remember when I did. I got embarrassed once because a guy shook my hand and my palms were sweaty because I was so nervous. What can I talk about with a guy that I might be interested in? Usually we are left in silence and in a akward situation.

For "love4jesus" advice -- you could talk to some of them in Christian Forums and try and explore!

God has a wonderful man for you -- it's in his plan!

haha are you telling to do online dating with all these wonderful and Godly men on this site? ;) My parents would go nuts if I told them, "Hey I am in love with a man that I met on the internet!" I guess you never know. This is a good place to get to know people because it is easier to talk to people through writing instead of verbal communication. Of course, you would have to be careful because some people may not be who they appear to be when you meet them in person.

I'm really sorry you feel that way. I know how you feel. I could give you a long list of what all I think are my bad qualities. I try not to dwell on it but try to make the most of what I do have.
Life isn't fair and even though we don't understand the reason or rhyme of it all we are still to take what we have been blessed with and make the most of it to God's glory.

Do you know that Jesus understands how you feel?

The Bible says he was comely looking, meaning not a model beauty Isaiah 53:2b, “He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.” All this tells us is that Jesus’ appearance was just like any other man – He was ordinary looking. Most of the images we have of Jesus are probably very inaccurate. Jesus was a Jew, so He likely had very tan skin, dark eyes, and dark hair. This is a far cry from the blond-haired, blue-eyed, fair-skinned Jesus in most modern pictures.

Society puts way too much emphasis on the body and not enough on the inside. God doesn't do that. Remember what God told Samuel in 1 Samuel 16:7 "'Don't judge by a man's face or height....I don't make decisions the way you do! Men judge by outward appearance but I look at a man's thoughts and intentions'"
Don't equate imperfection with failure. The flawless beauty, perfect job, faultless mate, ideal church — there is no such thing. Instead of trying to look like what the world says it the ideal person, we need to take what we have and make it the best for the glory of God. We will be much happier if we do that. Don't let the world rob you of your emotional & spiritual dignity.

That's what we need to concentrate on, walking with God. He has a plan for us and our body is part of that plan. Maybe He wants us to work somehow with so-called "average-looking people," helping them develop on the inside where God really looks. And believe me, God is still working on who we are on the inside. Give him a chance to do what He's going to do. Instead of asking ... 'Why am I not more beautiful on the outside?' ask this question: 'How can I cooperate with God to help me become more beautiful on the inside?'

Why do I feel that I cannot get a boyfriend because I am not pretty? I keep telling myself that if I lost weight, got my scars removed, if I had bigger breasts, normal hearing, no mole on my neck, and nice hair someone would like me. :sigh: All the wrong guys like me, guys that are weird. I don't know why I feel that a lot of guys only like girls for their beauty.

Before I even read your post I could have told you the answer. I haven't even read any of the replies. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you and that's a fact, not an opinion :) You could even consider yourself blessed; a guy with a pure heart towards God won't even see what you consider as shortcomings, he'll see your heart towards God.

Purity and Godliness are attractive to a pure and Godly man, trust me on this one. King David was the youngest, least pretty of all his fathers sons, but it was his pure heart that caused God to annoint him to become the best king that Israel had. So you too can become God's most favoured, and when God favours you then you will be irresistable to Godly men ;)

I really enjoyed reading your post, thank you! You not only gave me encouragement but a bible study. I learned important things today like the fact that Jesus Christ isn't as beautiful physically as the way the world sees outer beauty. I love those scriptures and the link you included too. I don't know why I am into making myself more beautiful than I can ever be in the outward appearance in this life. God created us to be different, He knew what I would like before I was born. I put God down by not accepting what I look like. I can imagine that it makes Him sad because He made me this way. Thank you Lord, forgive me for being wordly and a perfectionist in my own eyes. You are all I want and need. May I take my eyes off the problem and put my eyes back on you. I look forward to serving you in all aspects of my life. :amen:
