#2 Efforts to decrease mail-in balloting by lessening time for requesting and returning ballots among other efforts. Those efforts are misguided, IMO because there is no evidence that lower turnout helps/hurts either party.

1) The left LOST the election when Biden won the nomination. Compared to Trumpism, I guess the left won (alos called the Democrats).

2) The left has been blocked at every turn in passing their agenda,and have been furious with Biden for not supporting them enough.

3) The infrastructure bill was negotiated by and written by a bipartisan group of senators over several months. The left at first refused to support the bill, insisting that their $6B bill be passed at the same time. Finally, Pelosi passed a rule that said that she would bring the bill to a vote well AFTER the infrastructure was law.

The $6B bill has been shaved by more than 2/3, now down under $2B. The left can vote for what Biden and the moderates ultimate agree upon or they can vote against it. In any case, the bill (and the new law) will not include the vast majority of spending proposed by the left.

"God given rights that our nation was founded upon" is a whole thread of it's own but let's assume you mean constitutional rights.

The 4th amendment is constantly violated by the police, to the point you are more likely to be robbed by the police than by a home invasion.

The 5th amendment is being eroded with a recent court case that held silence can be used against you.

The 6th is basically non existent at this point with no one getting a "speedy trial", with the poor waiting it out for lack of bail money.

The 8th still gets violated constantly with police beating and murdering people with no due process, let alone the death penalty and rape in jail.

The 13th outlawed slavery except for criminals, a loophole that is still exploited to this day.

The 15th is being threatened with the race based gerrymandering the republicans keep doing, along with all the extra barriers they put in place for poor people.

None of that has to do with whatever comic book villain version of Marxism you believe exists.

Also there already is an elite ruling class and none of us here are in it.
