Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."
This verse is very clear - the church will be here until the day of Jesus Christ.
That lines up with what we find in 2 Thessalonians 2 as to that day will not come until other things happen first.
a falling away
and the - man of sin is revealed
This means we have the church on the earth as of still today and she waits for the falling away/apostasy and the man of sin is revealed - which eventually will lead to the start of the day of Christ.
People like you do not understand the "Line upon Line, Precept upon Precept, here a little, there a little" scriptures and its meanings. You take one scripture that sounds like what you believe and thus it affirms your bias, when in reality it doesn't. Rev. 19 proves a pre-trib Rapture, Paul talks about the HARPAZO Gathering of the Church. Paul speaks of the Departure of the Church in 2 Thess. 2. not the "Falling Away" as you so presume, and its clear it is the Gathering of the Church (Rapture) that is being spoken of.
As per Philippians 1:6......Being confident of this very thing, that
he (Holy Spirit) which hath
begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Where does it mention ON EARTH? You obviously take scriptures out of Context, the Holy Spirit will keep us until the Judgment Day of Christ, whether that be in the Grave, or on earth, until we are Raptured to Heaven, we will still be filled with the Holy Spirit, in our sleep in the grave or in Heaven. The Subject here is about
HE....
The Holy Spirit keeping us in Christ until the Day of Christ....Yet you have it as us being on earth until Judgment day. No doubt you are incorrect because many will sleep in the Grave, and the Holy Spirit will keep us in Christ there also, this is what we call taking scriptures out of context.
So the Holy Spirit will be with us IN HEAVEN just before we come back with Jesus on White Horses, before the Lord Jesus Judges men. The HE (Holy Spirit will KEEP US unto the Day of the Lord, but yiur assumption that that HAS TO BE ON EARTH has not factual backing whatsoever.
This means we have the church on the earth as of still today and she waits for the falling away/apostasy and the man of sin is revealed - which eventually will lead to the start of the day of Christ.
It means no such, the word means Departure. And the Church is what is being spoken of as Departing.
