If God has direct control of all things known and unknown, why then does he need angels to carry out his tasks?

Why the war, and what are they fighting over?
Zechariah 6:5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
Go forth where? What is their task?
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.
Why are they presenting themselves?

Gods totally unselfish Love would have forced/compelled Him to create beings that He could shower with unbelievable gifts for the sake of those individuals that would be willing to just accept those charitable gifts.
God did not create out of some need God had.

First off you see mere angels defeated satan and God did not have to get involved directly.
This was all done for our (willing individuals) benefit.
North, east, south and west. (this is poetic figurative language and not to be taken literally). They are carrying good news to the scattered Jews.
Would you not like to present yourself before God? Present can mean offer so they are offering to serve God.
Satan actually has purpose.

They already fought and satan lost.
Satan does have lots of power especially compared to humans, but we can call on God/Jesus to drive satan away.
Christians are in Gods army right now fighting the Good fight. We want to have a part to play, but God does not need us.

The four angels are the forces which hold the whole universe up. They are the foundations of this creation. Read and understand Ezekiel and Revelation about the four beasts and the firmament.
Our purpose is to defeat Gods enemy ( at least do our part). Why is that?

No man hath seen God and if they were to see Him that would void "faith" which is hope not yet seen, so, anyone would believe if they had physical proof. We are not to whom the inheritance was promised but since the Hebrews broke the Covenant, we are allowed to be invited to the "Great Supper" through FAITH..

In a simple analogy:
God is the operating system of the computer and angels are the programs or applications.
There's a highly logical and ordered structure in the "spiritual realm" which religious authorities don't understand themselves.
One thing we are forgetting are the purpose of the saints which is to serve as the eyes of these "angels".
THe purpose of "witnesses" as in the witnesses of Revelations are not to share whatever hidden knowledge they've witnessed but to serve as witnesses of man's activities for angels so they can carry out judgements for example.
In such manner, witnesses may appear to direct the wrath of nature as they please.

What wringer are you talking about?
If God is on your side His power is doing the real fighting and you are just there sharing in the His glory.
Ezekiel and Revelation have some very colorful poetic language that should not always be taken literally.
Where did you get the idea: Our purpose is to defeat Gods enemy. We at to attack satan at every turn, but satan has purpose and will continue to be around on this earth.
