Your conclusion only holds if 1Cor12:1-3 is literally true. If the verse isn't true, then people can say "Jesus is Lord" without the Holy Ghost. So, can you justify the validity of this verse?

Crujir, you ever heard of the saying "the only person you're cheating is yourself."?
Well, think about it - you might have some 'fakers' in your own parish.
They might not want to come out of the religious closet, simply because of the attitude shown to 'non'-believers by others around them.
These people that choose to deliberately not-believe at least have more integrity than those who lie just so that people won't shout out how you-re going to burn in hell - as "the only person you're cheating is yourself" -
you CAN fool others.
That's what lying is.
But you can't fool yourself.

Okay, here is the deal.

Regardless of whether a person is considerably "Godly" or not, just because one doesn't do as God wills, doesn't mean they don't have the belief that He is there...

No one can confess Jesus as Lord except by the Holy Spirit. You can say you don't believe all you want, but one of two things are happening here. One; you are lying to prove a point. Two; you really can speak the words Jesus is Lord, and every time you do your conscience pokes at you.

I've come to a point where I have to realize that a close-minded person cannot receive. And if you can't give anything we are saying to you any amount of thought and refuse to have a chance of receiving because of your closed mind, you might as well quit posting in here; its pointless and honestly its wasting God's time. God can't deal with you if you don't open your mind.

If you are not looking to receive from God, then why are you here? Do you REALLY have a purpose here? You certainly aren't helping anyone, or even attempting to do so. You just want to boast about your scientific "knowledge" instead of realizing that not everything is within the realm of science. And none of you can reasonably battle the Bible because you only seem to take bits and pieces of scripture at face value instead of reading it all the way through; you miss critical pieces that bring its purpose to a point.

Who are YOU to judge God when you don't even understand what you are reading in His word? And if a King's word is SUPREME, then WHO can say "What are you doing?"

Alright, pick apart everything I say. But I dont see myself as foolish. I see myself wealthy not in things of this earth, but in the things of Jesus Christ. I will be rewarded in full in death.

For those of you who are not aware, God has an open door, mentioned in Revelations, that all are welcome to come in. The light on the other side is bright, glorious, and blessed. There will be many outside the door who cannot enter into the light because they are ASHAMED, and afraid of being exposed for their sins.

That spirit of shame is in here, right now. Those of you faithless want to justify your works by denying God. You cannot justify anything; God's word is supreme, and if a King's word is supreme, then who can say "What are you doing?" No one. He is God, He is sovereign, He is almighty and nothing can, and nothing will stop His glorious return when He comes to take all those who are faithful to a painless place we all know and argue about; Heaven.

Shame and past hurts are no excuse for disobeying God; if you would only step into the light, He would shed your shame and make you holy. You would be at peace, you would be joyful. But no, you have to hide behind your wall of pride, telling yourself constantly you are right instead of opening your mind to God and what He has in store for you. Ye workers of iniquity, why can you not understand that all things work for the GOOD of those who love God?

You have no justification, rectification, or excuses. God is God, and His word is above all things. Nothing you can say or do will change that. Your purpose here in the forum is near meaningless if you are not willing to soften your hearts enough to take a chance at hearing the voice of God. I have no pity for you; it is a waste to pity one who is absolutely refusing to accept the truth. I only fear for you, and pray that you will come to an understanding, and soften your hearts.

God loves you, He wants to show it and wants you to realize it, but you block it out. I have spoken the truth, therefore your blood is not on my hands.

As a worldly example, there are people on this earth, and this is true, that actually believe that the Holocaust and WWII didn't happen. You can show them pictures, National Geographics, history books, or whatever, and they still will not believe because their hearts are hard and they have concluded in that shell of a heart that it is not true. Also how can people not look into the book of revelations and SEE the it is truth, the what is in that book is happening now. There are earthquakes, hurricanes(more than ever, dean, katrina, rita, etc), tornatoes, pestilence and disease(AIDS, Cancer, STDs, etc)...it says in the book that this will be rampant when the end is near...that there will be wars and rumors of wars, that homosexuality will be rampant, the world will be full of sin...there will be separation of church and state...its all happening before our eyes, yet people deny it...still.

Grachius should have provided more direct evidence for his claims. They're just speculation. Even.. hehe, even those who believe in the Big Bang would argue that something happened to create what we see here. I don't think it's true, myself (unless God had some hand in it and that was the way he did it) but still. Mere speculation. I appreciate his opinions, though.

And yah, you can't force someone to believe. Otherwise, you're no better than that guy in North Korea. He has everyone worship him, and the sad part (as in sorrow, not "i think they're dumb") is they actually believe he's divine. Well, a lot of them, anyways.
