Sda holds that EW was the Prophetess, just as inspired as Ot prophets and NT Apostles, and you hold to one MUT keep the Sabbath , or else get mark of the beast!
And we believe 1 Cor 14:1 "Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy"
And we believe 1 Cor 14:26 How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.
And we believe 1 Thess 5:19-22
19 Do not quench the Spirit; 20 do not despise prophetic utterances. 21 But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; 22 abstain from every form of evil.
And we believe 1 Cor 12:28 And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues. 29 All are not apostles, are they? All are not prophets, are they?
And we believe Numbers 12:6 6 He said,“Hear now My words:
If there is a prophet among you,
I, the Lord, shall make Myself known to him in a vision.
I shall speak with him in a dream.
And we believe 1 John 4: Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world
And we believe that Agabus in the book of Acts was a prophet
And we believe that Nathan was a prophet who spoke to king David
And we believe that Anna in the temple at the time of the birth of Christ was a prophet.
And we believe the Deborah at the time of the judges was a prophet.

I do believe she was a prophetess---does not mean that she must be accepted. .

And there are many variations of that,
But "The point" is that there is a published statement of SDA beliefs that everyone can see on the internet - yet instead of going there and asking about this-or-that statement what we often see is people just tossing out some ideas to see if they fly as "I sure think SDAs believe this or that thing I just said" - as that sort of thing then becomes an official statement of our beliefs.
