Quote"In other words, show great resolve to perfectly obey Gods laws( for sin I transgression of the law) and you may then attain to heaven."End quote

On the radio last night there was some talk about the situations caused by pit bull dogs and it was in most cases the owners who were the problem.
It was compared to what Christians do to Christianity. It was a throw away comment but indicates that some believe Christianity is alright but for the people who operate within it.

The incorrect doctrines are being taught by them all. Scriptures are used and they are good, but they are being delivered by individuals operating from out of their own messed up personality to gullible people. The people prefer to have it that way because there is only a token effort on their part.

A little sensitivity and discernment by the Spirit indicates that these are wolves as they tear at the heart. This is noticed in the chest as they preach. The same area that is circumcised away when made perfect in Christ. The advice is keep away from them and you will change hopefully.
Not that I have already obtained all of this, or have already been made perfect.... Phil 3:12

I imagine you believe when Paul wrote his letters he was not yet truly born again as he had not attained to perfection. Therefore I imagine you must believe your christian walk has progressed further than did Paul's. Possibly you believe he did not have the spiritual insight you have

That discounts grace.

Belief in God is counted as righteousness and this is not belief in own self which includes own power of intellect and a separate will that empowers the belief in own self. This self belief will always be directed towards and opposed to another persons self belief for self survival.
Own will must align with the will of the Father and this can only occur when one believes in God.
The only way to this place of God is sacrifice in a work of faith just as Peter walked on water a person must step out of the boat of own nature and trust in Jesus and the promise of God. This will lead to immortality that is Knowing God.
You rely on sinless perfection to attain to eternal life( obedience to the law)
Paul states:
All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it I written:
Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the book of the law( sinless perfection) clearly no one I justified before God by the law, because, the righteous will live by faith gal3:10&11
Paul agrees with John. You are cursed if you rely on the law for you cannot meet the pass mark to attain heaven under it which I sinless perfection.
You oppose the gospel message, but as do others you seek to justify your errant and deceived views

I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteous is attained by the law Christ died for nothing Gal2:21

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you let him be eternally condemned Gal1:8

My experience is that one must be careful what is asked for.
The problem is I have a strong testimony because God opened my mind and revealed the immortal Jesus to me. My mind was shown a comparison and how my mind did not measure up. This could never be found by me in a lifetime search.
It is all in the mind and the difference between own self belief and belief in God.
If the Spirit is not actively working in a person to facilitate the upward call of Christ within then they will die. If by the Spirit they are transformed and renewed in the mind then they will live because this will direct them to escape the Kingdom of Satan.

What has your response to do with the scriptures placed before you?
It would seem i am more grieved by sin than you are. For your heart must be hardened. You do not acknowledge your sin, therefore you are not grieved by your shortcomings. I can assure you I am.
I have found I life, those who most stress obedience to the law( no sin) to be saved are the people who on the inside are the furthest away from how God wants them to live. That was true 2000 years ago and it is true today

It is possible to experience sinless perfection in the nature of Jesus. To find the Holy place one must knock and entry is given. It is like a reward for how strong the faith is to overcome the obstacles in own rebellious nature with its mind attachments.

Paul and john did not believe sinless perfection was possible for the christian. Therefore you must believe the bible contains error and you know more than did two people who between them wrote two thirds of the books in the NT

When I am not doing Spiritual things I am no different than any one else. But I am not going to worry about it. Think of King David how he prayed for his child but when he realized it had died he just got up dusted himself off and continued on. Guilt and fear come from going into a church.

But that will not stop a work of faith to approach a holy place but the decision has to be made by me.
If I can enter and stay then I will have eternal life with no judgement. To get there is a work of faith.
I will have to give up my own life completely mind and all to gain access. If I do not get there then I will be under judgement just as every other converted person will be.
Judgement begins in the house of God.

As you did not say some churches, I assume you believe you know better than every minister in the pulpit!
As for the rest of your post:
I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life

The bible I have read is the King James but I have Revised Authorized Version that is used mostly.
The Ephesians are a good example of what occurred with me. But I must say the depth of what is written does not prepare one for the power of the experience of the divine nature.
I mostly prefer to read what Jesus relates because it is uncompromising and direct.

While in another city Jesus replied to a prayer that was offered and the power of it flowed through my being like rushing water and somewhat devastated me.
There will not be any revival and God is more set on getting man off the planet by consuming them all with fire.
Revelation 11:18
“And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.”

This is hopeless. You simply ignored the truthful point made and carry on trying to justify your opposition to what is so plainly written.
As john attests, you are deceived.

John 5:24

The Spirit discerns and is true. John 5:24 is a little deeper than can be imagined.

"Believes in Him who sent me" should be enough to work out that believing in own self is not enough because there are attachments on the self that are seen in the personality. It is easier to see other peoples faults than ones own in every case. This is not condemning it is a statement of fact. The attachments in own self must be exposed that is discovered and expelled. They are unable to be found in ones own power because they are part of the personality.
One has to believe in God and the way to do that is to hear the word of Jesus. This is not words on paper but energized words of revelation that come into the thoughts from the same mind that Jesus thinks from. Jesus is alive and the Spirit energizes the words.
The words of Jesus cannot be spoken by someone who does not have the spirit working in him.
God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

I want to be clean, I want to be without sin.. I like the feeling I get right after prayer, It's like a clean pure feeling, But it does not last, Sooner or later temptation happens..

My sins and desires offend me, And even though I try to resist, it's not so simple, The flesh is wicked and it desires what it does. Is there a way to make temptation go away and never come back. I dislike my temptations, I want them to stop completely, forever..There is no need to go into detail. And lest I be judged, No man is without sin. But, I am offended by my wickedness, it pulls at me like a chain coming straight from hell. To know the love of God, And then to feel the pull of Satan,, It's unfair, God deserves better then me, And I want to do better. But the devil knows my weakness.. And I am weak. How can someone make temptation stop? It's like a sickness that does not go away..

A never ending battle, And I just want peace,...Please note, I am not insane, I am just very spiritual,, I promise, My sins are not that different from any other male,, most likely..

But its not fair that Satan gets to try, over and over and over again,, it's like I am a stone and he is a stone cutter.. He picks at me until I am weak. And I fall to temptation..

It's not fair... I want it to stop...

Hey.. true as it is written we all sin. Yet any guilt you feel is NOT from God. There is no condemnation to them in Christ Jesus. Jesus told one before He died to go and sin no more. Understand NO ONE controls us that know Christ. So if a thought desire what ever comes up pops up .. bind it.. speak the word. The Father speaks ALWAYS...we just dont take the time to listen "PRAY". If we play in some sins over and over and over.. WE did that.. there is a price to pay. So the fight will be. WE open that door and we let it in. Then when were done or finally listen to the sweet sweet Holy Spirit.. we expect it to just vanish. Its a battle. Christ is for us. He will make a way where there is no way. But we have to mean it "repent" with our heart. He will not play games He does not understand. Well the war is over. Satan has no power over us. So if we give in.. He does not understand it is never ok. We say sorry He says..thats why I died.

I sin more then most yet He has never once EVER made me feel guilty. Always loving always open arms. So Shadowprophet you are not weak.. we all fight the flesh. But GREATER is He that is in you then he thats in the world. And when temtations come HE ALWAYS makes a way out. Next time? Take the way out. You do NOT have to give in to sin. Understand and know NOTHING not even GOD controls you.. unless you allow it. I dont care what any one says.. His word is enough .. the joy of the lord is your strengh. He loves you He is for you HE died for you took all your sins. Dont let the devil lie. Speak the WORD when those thoughts come in..like fear.. speak NO God has not given me the spirit of fear... so for so on. Find what the word says and speak it. DONT run by how you feel. We walk by faith. He took ALL to the cross for you.. claim IT!

My friend I hate to say it but you will never be able to rid temptation but you can lessen the amount of your temptation,
try praying to God asking him to help lessen the amount of your temptation but in your own words for it is written Matthew 7:7"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." but the bible also says Matthew 6:10 "your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." so if it is his will to help you lessen the amount of your temptation then Gods will be done.

Dear sunlover1. How do you rid yourself of temptation? Just face it head on. Tell Satan that you love our Lord, and no matter how hard Satan tries to tempt you, you will always follow Jesus Christ, our Saviour. Keep telling Satan and his followers. Ask God for Love and Joy, ( Matthew 7: 7-10:) then thank God and start sharing all love and joy with your neighbour. Keep doing that, and you will find that Satan and followers, will run away from all Love and Joy and Kindness. Jesus shows us the way: " The first and great Commandment is: Love God with all our hearts, with all our souls, and with all our minds." Jesus is the Way, and we keep following Jesus. God will see our loving efforts, and God will Bless us. We might stumble and forget at times, but then we ask God to forgive us and carry on loving, caring and always use friendly words.
The Bible tells us: " Repent and be Born Again," we give up our selfish wishes and wants, and start loving and caring.
Love is very catching, and we will find that love helps us to overcome all anger and unkind behaviour. We will change gradually into the sons and daughters which God wants, and Satan and all unkind beings will flee from us.
Let God change us into the men and women which God wants us to be, and we will help to change this imperfect world into a world of Love and kindness and Joy unending. In Matthew 35-40 we are told " The first and great Commandment is: Love God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. The second is like it, love thy neighbour as thyself." In verse 40 we are told: " On these two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."
I say this with love, sunlover. Greetings from Emmy, your sister in Christ.

You must be relying on the fact other people do not read their Bibles.
I am afraid your comment applies to you
The problem with not understanding the foundation on which the new covenant is built, is you cannot build properly on a false foundation.
Paul tells us salvation is a free gift, given by grace through faith( eph2:8&9) you refuse to accept that, believing in reality it is earned by striving for sinless perfection.
The born again christian has the law God requires them to keep written on their mind and placed on their heart at the point of conversion, meaning in their heart they want to live as God desires them to. But the flesh has not been born again. When the christian wilfully gives into the flesh their conscience is seered as with a hot iron, it can be no other way for they have been born again. Therefore no christian can just take the view they can happily sit back and continue without conscience to sin. To believe such a thing is not to understand the new covenant.
A child who loves their parents wants in their heart to obey their rules. But though they do, they never will perfectly obey their parents, such a thing is not possible for they are a child. What would you think if the parents told the child if they did not perfectly obey their rules they would condemn them to being thrown out of the home, or they threatened to do so? You would think the parents were barbaric, cruel, had no love for the child and should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. And yet, that is how you view God acts towards his children. If they don't perfectly obey his rules( sinless perfection) at the least they are in grave danger of being rejected/ they cannot attain to heaven.
You can say I am twisting your beliefs but assuredly I am not. So to you God loves his children far less than a loving parent loves their children.
The majority sadly who go to church believe they must earn Gods love/ acceptance and so do you. It is why churches are often half empty, and satan can rob people of the truth which is where the true power lies.
Many are just blinded because in the world you get what you earn, you get what you deserve and they carry that into their christian walk. Others are proud of heart and want to believe they, by their own effort have attained to heaven.
The holy spirit enters your life at conversion, and he is your seal for heaven.
You either follow grace through faith to be justified or observing the law( no sin) you cannot have both, such a thing does not exist.
I know you must refuse to accept what i write, but you errant beliefs must still be repudiated incase people new to the faith may feel swayed to believe them.
It is not possible to love God with all you heart if you believe heaven hinges on performing perfect. You couldn't love anyone on this earth if that was the case, neither can you love God that way.
King David trusted in Gods unfailing love forever and he lived under the old covenant. He did not trust in being good enough. Neither does any christian who understands grace

God knows that we are very weak creatures. I for one are totally weak. I keep falling all the time!!! Knowing i have done wrong, confessing but then falling again and again!!

I know that God loves me. He wants me to beat temptations / sin. Without God i am nothing.

Yes, i keep falling. Yes, i want to stop sinning! I am sure God knows this and wants me to fight harder. I am trying!
