Excellent!

I half expected them to bring Hana back in to do the rescue, but I did like the way they worked it. Nina/Jessica is going to go ballistic when she discovers what happened. Next week, 5 years. Hiro and Hiro. I can't wait.

Yeah, I don't know what's up with the 5 years into the future deal.
If it's jumping back and forth into the future to see what happens so they can return to the present day storyline, that's great.
But if the whole storyline moves completely 5 years later, that's cheating from a writer's standpoint of trying to figure out how to work out the storyline to move it along.

I'm pretty sure they said it's what could happen if they don't stop things from the way they are presently. it's more of a flash-forward episode than a complete jump for the rest of the season

They did say "could" and "if" which means that they'll be going back to the present. This series has been well written and executed the entire time. I'm sure the last four episodes will be just as awesome.

I can't imagine they'd completely abandon the present in favor of the future. The fact that Future Hiro appears to have been putting together a timeline to figure out how to fix things makes me think that they're probably going to focus on the future for a time, but only for the purpose of setting the stage for when they go back and try to change it again.

This also means that Future Hiro doesn't actually know how to fix things. Makes me wonder exactly why he thought saving Claire would do it.

ok..first off...awesome episode! The future episode is about what could happen if things don't change. Hana has been on the show, but not how you think. She has been on the online part of it, trying to thwart Linderman's rigging of the Petrelli election.

Go to this link to read about it, and watch the videos from Hana. Also, the new online comic, "String Theory" tells you what is going on with the future and why future Hiro wanted to "Save the Cheerleader". Seriously you guys, you need to read these comics. They are not spoilers, but are an extention of the storylines of the show, by the writers, to give you insight as to what is really going on. It is part of the Heroes 360 experience. Here is a link to the new one.

Let me know what you all think. It IS time to save the world... ;)

Ok. So Sylar was the original bomb. Explains where the "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" came from. Now, instead of Sylar, it is Peter. An example of the timeline correcting itself? Something along the lines of "you can't change the past." Same type of example as what happened with Hiro and that one girl (I forget her name), the one he went back to save, but still couldn't prevent her death. If that is the case, how can they actually stop the bomb from going off? Will it be even remotely possible? Be interesting to see how they move this story forward.

The lamest bit was that Mohinder just knocked Sylar out instead of killing him. The man that killed his father, used him to kill other people, tried to kill him, and as far as he knew killed Peter.... and he didn't try to do more than knock him out?

No kidding. I thought the same thing. Actually, I think my reaction was to call Mohinder an idiot.

Despite what Hiro said, I doubt that Isaac is coming back. But he did his part and made sure that the heroes would know how to stop Sylar.
i think he drew sylar's downfall in the sketchbook he gave to that delivery guy. he told sylar he already showed them how to defeat him. but since it wasn't painted, and they devoted screen time to the book, that's what i'm guessing.

I don't think it is the sketchbook. I think it is more likely the final issue of the comic that he gave to the delivery guy just before giving him the sketchbook. Remember how the comic guided Hiro at the beginning? I'm thinking that is the way he'd convey his message again.

I think that the comic that he sent, was the comic that Hiro found to begin with. It went full circle, because Hiro came forward in the beginning right at this time frame. So, Isaac knew he was gonna make the comic, because Hiro showed it to him. That's why Isaac was so serene about his death. He felt he was doing what he was meant to do. But if they can find a way to change it, all the better!

Not necessarily. I thought the messenger said "final version" and that he was "anxious to see how it turned out." Also, Hiro found Isaac soon after he was killed, too soon for the comic to come out, IMO.
