Oh my gosh.. yes! Some think that they give spoilers, but it's more like they are a continuance of the story line offscreen. And JAS4, take a look at this preview, if you haven't already seen it. It will blow your mind if you are keeping up with the novels... Let me know what you think...

i'm not up on the novels yet, but I'm so digging that Linderman has healing powers. I'm seriously wondering what he's planning to do. He wants to "save it; heal it"... I wonder what methods he's willing to use to get his way. We see how he acts towards those who owe him... hmmm...!

I don't think we know how quickly he died. He was dead prior to the pilot episode, and had only been mentioned in passing. Unless I'm forgetting something (which is entirely possible).

If it is Petrelli Sr, it could also be that he is the one behind the organization HRG is involved with. In the comic, it seems like the two were going to wind up at odds. It could wind up that they were friends who are on opposite sides, sort of like Professor X and Magneto from X-Men.

Sr. Petrelli was alive, as Nathan and Peter were gonna give depositions against him, when all of a sudden, he died. At first, by heart attack, then by suicide. I think that Mrs. Petrelli might have powers also, as we see it runs in families.

Definately a lot of interesting speculations going on. I'm wondering how much more the novels will reveal about the past, to give additional insight into the present.

I agree that Mrs. Petrelli probably has powers. Just wondering what they might be, though.

A TV Guide editor has seen the next new episode and blogged about it here. It's fairly easy to read between the lines of a lot of it, even though he gives very few actual details. It does sound like a wonderful episode, though!

You were right, it is Linderman and Petrelli. They obviously are making a pact of some kind, they just aren't telling us what the pact is. The beginnings of the organization perhaps? The purpose of the organization is still shrouded, though, and I think they'll be revealing that through the TV episodes as opposed to the online novels.

Organization Speculation: Capture, catalogue, study, and use those with powers. In some cases, kill. They want control over those with power, so, in their mind, they can "protect" the world. What we've perceived as opposites or differing factions (such as Linderman) are actually differing parts of the same organization, with the same purpose and goals.

Agreed, division in the ranks. It leads me to believe that when Sr. Petrelli had kids with manifested powers, he might have wanted to keep the fact hidden, because he looked on Linderman as a freak in the comic. I still think Angela has powers we have yet to see. OH.. do you get the emails from "Hana"?

seems like you need to get new email addresses for your personal life and membership life and keep them separate ... may i suggest gmail and sneakemail.com (which is a supplement resource to any email address that I LOVE)
