God gives us all the choice of whether to follow him or not. It's called free will. Those who choose not to follow him, will be sentenced to hell.

Do you have even one non-Christian friend? Are they terrible human beings just because they are not Christians?

What is the thread? Gay adoption? You stand for gay adoption. As a Christian that is what is unbelievable! I expect that from an unbeliever, but from a Christian??

Your treading on thin ice my friend by condoning this idea, of gay adoption. Either your for God or against Him. Homosexuality is an ABOMINATION to God! God destroyed whole cities because of this, but you want these people to be able to adopt?? God forbid!!!

I never said I hated anyone! It's suprising when you bring something like this up, automatically your accused of hating people. What is Sad is your stubborness in submitting to God's word! Why are both AUTOMATICALLY the same thing?

I want to know where, in the Bible, Jesus treats sinners like scum. Can't name one single instance, can you?

I am going to say this one more time. I am NOT supporting their lifestyle. I am supporting their right to NOT be treated as lower beings, just because they are sinners. That is not the Christian way to treat anyone, or to win them to Christ.

I am standing up for God and Jesus. The same Jesus who had dinner with sinners, and associated with outcasts.

That is the way I believe we should be. Prove to me that Jesus did not do those things, when they are recorded in the Bible.

It is better to pray the LORD by all FAITH to change the hearts and minds of men no matter they care not for it than to live by the laws of men(Go ask Saul what is possible). For men will say one sin is worse than another and by law to punish accordingly, yet the LORD sees all sin the same....better to live by the laws of GOD>and neither do men rasie the dead, walk on water or even remit sin....for they have not so much as a wits worth of faith, nay but they have traded such for technology and live accordingly and come to HIM at it's failing only. Tyler..You must separate the sin from the sinner. But you are right, no one should accept sin as an alternative lifestyle. The future looks bleak. The media is being bombarded with lies. I spoke with a High School teacher the other day. I did not bring up the subject. But she told me that teen girls were becoming bi-sexual. It was open and in your face. Not just one or two...but close to 1/3 of her students.
Bi-sexual...I do not think the "born with it" argument applies here. It does not take adoption to destroy the children. Turn on the TV...It is cool now to be a lesbian.

Knowing that this is the wave of the future...I searched the Internet trying to console myself. But story after story about homosexuals, were anything but happy. It should not have surprised me. When you try to separate your life on Earth from the will of God...You are setting yourself up for disappointment. Also they spoke over and over about all the friends that they have lost from aids.

So now I am even more confused. Can they be good parents?

(1) Can gays have inner peace? Are many of them deeply troubled people? How can we see the turmoil in their souls that comes from wrestling with God.

(2) There is more to raising a child then physical comforts. Can a child's emotional needs be met, never having a mother? Or... Can a child's emotional needs be met, never having a Father?

(4) Will the child be ridiculed by peers? Will she or he spend most of their growing years trying to defend their family's life style...instead of relating with others to develop into the person that they should become?

(5) What about aids? Are the parents screened for HIV? Is HIV a future threat? Assuming that they do not have other partners.. Can HIV be contacted between the two of them? What risk of contacting this disease is being placed on the children?

(6) Will the children be taken to church? Does the fact that their parents are sinners and haven't reconciled their desires with God, reason for them to keep children from Jesus? Jesus wants all the children to be brought to him to teach and love. Is the parent's life style a stumbling block?

(7) So I wonder??? It is so hard to grow up in today's society with everything in your favor. What will become of the children?

Please do not label me as someone who hates gays. I have nothing but love and compassion for these souls that are being tormented by the devil. But I do not think it is, Christ-like Love, to comfort a sinner in the dark. We are here to be the light of Christ's words. Rather than be complacent and accept the darkness... It is better to

You think by denying gays adoption rights, that then they are being treated as scum??? Trample the innocent and defend the abomination. Are you that blind that you do not know that approving of teaching others that sin is all right angers God?? Raising children by gays will inevitably lead to the parents (at the very least)brainwashing the child into believing that homosexuality is perfectly normal? Maybe even then adopting the same lifestyle?? Homosexuality is sexual perversion, you want to put children in the hands of sexual perverts?? Anyone who opposes this idea is then branded as either hating gays, or treating these "sorely misunderstood" people as scum. Quit being wishy washy as a Christian. Stand up for what is right, at least make an effort!
