  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I had an awesome Sabbath! The youth at my church took the service, and we spoke on the power of prayer. Everyone said we did a really good job, and we all enjoyed it lots. We're hoping to do one about twice a year now.
We had a yummy luncheon afterwards, and all the youth helped washup and put away food/dishes.
In the arvo our Pr had a short meeting on the Power of Forgiveness, which was very interesting.

That is great to hear. We also had a great Sabbath Pr Laurie Evans (SPD Pres. came and took the service). Also a combined lunch. Just because he is the "boss" did not stop him from talking to us grass roots Church members.

If you ever have the chance to get him to come to your Church you will find him very humble.

I had a nice Sabbath today! :)
I took the youth SS lesson, which was a good experience! The lesson was on the Gifts of the Spirit, and also about how we can use the talents God gives us.
The speaker who took the service gave us a good message on health things in the bible. He went 25 minutes overtime though! ^_^ It was ok though, as it was all interesting.
After lunch some of the youth group went for a bush walk (in the rain) and that was nice, just wandering around the fire trails

*grins and waves happily to anyone watching* A very happy sabbath to everyone.. This is my first sabbath online for about 6 weeks now, as I've moved.. But God is so awesome.. I'm so glad he's given us a day where the only thing we have to do is be with him.. (and take sabbath school, but thats a different story) aren't we special?
