Just considering the timing of Passover, the Jewish calendar is a lunar calendar and Passover falls on a full moon each year. If that is the case then in no way can a solar eclipse with the moon in front of the sun occur. I know as you all know that scripture is true so... what caused the solar eclipse if not the moon?1st we know He was 30 when he began, we know His earthly ministry was 3 1/2 years, we know the Temple was destroyed in 70 ad. Do a study on 40. We know when he died there was an eclipse at noon, the earth was dark. We have astrological programs now that can place the eclipse & the Star of Bethlehem at 30 ad.
