When asked by Christ, the apostles to first come could they have refused, Peter had to be coerced, so could he have still said "no" or was Christ giving him an order?
Lots of people were invited to the banquet, but some refused so can you refuse to go or does the Master kidnap His guests?

Do you believe that man has a natural ability to believe apart from the work of the Spirit? If no, then what part does the Spirit play in conversion?
The Spirit convicts the world of sin ...

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8 And when he is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; ...

So the natural man can respond to this?

No I agree that it is possible that the Holy Spirit plays a role in calling someone to believe.

Yes because he hasn’t been born again yet and the regeneration process hasn’t started. This doesn’t happen until we receive the indwelling Spirit. Cornelius believed before receiving the indwelling Spirit.

That would be Pelagianism. That’s been considered a heresy for centuries.

We’re you a sinner when you heard the gospel?

Yes.

We’re you a sinner when you first believed?

Yes.

Did your sinful nature keep you from believing or did it force you to recognize that you are in need of a Savior?

It was the Holy Spirit, not my sinful nature, which revealed to me my need for salvation by exposing my sins to me.

We are still a natural man until we receive the indwelling Spirit. I just said it is possible that the Holy Spirit plays a role in our calling to believe.

Well, thanks for demonstrating your ignorance of Reformed Theology.
I have researched it pretty intensely. It's obviously divine determinism, (all things are ultimately determined by God's decrees) You are free to try and prove otherwise...

And is natural man inherently sinful or not, in your belief?

I’ll help you out.

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

No analogy is perfect, it still basically works.
It works for you to attempt to disprove Reformed Theology. But you changed it up when it was put back on you.

The Holy Spirit revealed your sinful nature.

Understand I lived the first 25 years of my life as a rather militant atheist. I knew that if I had any faith, what I was doing was sinful, thus a product of my sinful nature, but rejected Christian theology entirely. I Would say the best way to put my conversion to faith was the working of the Holy Spirit to first acknowledge the existence of God, then to learn of Him, then to struggle with Him, then to find peace within Him.
