Hello!!!

If we are the cause of global warming here on earth who's causing it on Mars????
Just something to think about....

God Bless,

That is a interesting article and could end up being the reason why people start to hate God and curse Him for global warming but even if it were also the sun I suspect that the effect would not be as noticeable as it is now because of our own effect on our planet.

Ha ha ha - Jipsah, good one!

Lucas, Joe B a s t a r d i (I know - what a name - it even got edited :D ) http://home.accuweather.com/index.asp?partner=accuweather heads up the National Weather Center's hurricane group and he says that we are in a 500 year cycle. Nothing more and nothing less.

I'm still trying to read a copy of "State of Fear" by Michael Crichton who usually researches his novels pretty well. Anyway, the premise is that "global warming" is a business thing, not a weather/sun/pollution thing.

Hi Barb... thought it appropriate to combine the info. you posted with this new (at least to me) info. on the "Tunguska Event" at http://www.physorg.com/printnews.php?newsid=11710

It is a very interesting article, and answers a lot of questions, both pro and con.

Shalom... WAB

That is cool, but many people in this world aren't Christians.......

And secondly...shouldn't we heal our land ourselves? It is easy to sit back and hope and pray for the best......Better is to honor God's creation and take good care of it......or why elese should you go to the doctor when you are sick: God will heal you?

Why do we have brains (and have scientists that use them correctly) and make us able to think and act for ourselves?
All peaple in the world dont have to be christians, the world is the way it is because of the sins of christians not the sins of man, the earth itself rebels at our sin, our actions are to turn from our wicked ways and pray. God is not a majic 8 ball he also has the power to act and answer prayer. But the real problem here on earth is not pollution or global warming ,it is sin, the sin of christians.

Hey OU,

Now, we usually agree on most things, and I value your opinion greatly, but I'm going to have to call you on this one, friend. The verse you provided has NOTHING to do with what you claim. You think that people who believe in the global warming "lie" will be condemned? DO you not see how incredibly flawed this argument is? How is it unrighteous to believe that global warming is harming our world? I'm sorry but you are just wrong.
God's Judgements? No. How about a sinful world that has turned its back on God, and God letting us to our own devices? Makes more sense to me.
But if you can show me otherwise, I am always willing to listen.

Blessing, brother.

Lucas
1)(i will neither leave you nor forsake you) that statement rules out God leaving us to our own devices.
2) It is not unrightiouse to believe that global warming is destroying our world, first of all its not our world, it belongs to God, second, it is however unrightiouse to put your faith in mans abilities, rather than trusting in God.

I have to disagree with you and agree with you. First, I agree that God will not leave us entirely to our own devices. That is, He wont leave His children to their own devices. He nurtures and protects His children, His little christs, from harm. However, those that do not follow God, those that are not part of the family of God, have chosen to live their life separated from God and His infinte Love. These people have, for the most part, been left to their own devices. The bible verse you quoted "I will neither leave you not forsake you", was said to those that believe in Him- His children.

However, God has given us the world to subdue. In doing so, we are not to recklessly destroy and kill. By polluting our world, we are not respecting God and His creations.

Who says to do this?

Lucas, Lucas, Lucas - are you ignoring what WAB and I are putting up? :D

Not at all. If you go back and see, I responded to your last post. Did I miss something?

As for WAB, I read the article he posted. Nice theory. However, its hardly convincing. If some points want to be raised by WAB or yourself, I am game for discussion. However, I'm not going to dive into the whole article.

Hope all is well with you, sister.

Not quite sure I understand what you're saying, but with that being said....

People are people. Just because someone doesn't believe in God or follow Jesus Christ - it doesn't mean they are not under the law.

That would be like showing up on Apirl 30th and declaring you don't have to pay taxes anymore because you don't believe in them. Only to be quickly reminded you live in the country, you must abide by the rules.

God Bless,
OU

Dear barb,

I think that is exactly right. I haven't the time to read all the posts here, but global warming is a big hoax. The proof to me is that Mars is also increasing in temperature. How many polluters live on mars? It's just the normal cycle of solar activity.

I don't waste my time on "The sky is falling " crowd. I'm glad that there are people in the world that especially care about the envirnment, but they always seem to go to the extreme in their efforts. Kind of like the fear mongers of Y2K days.

Thank you for your post.

That paragraph pretty much encapsulates my viewpoint on the matter.

Have you not read Revelations on this matter?
Revelation 16:8-10 (NIV)

8The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire. 9They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.

Well, the sad thing is (of this discussion) that there will be no end to Global warming because many do not believe it or leave it in the lap of the Gods (so to speak)........

Sad, really sad....for the children and their children and so on. How selfish to think of this day and age instead of looking forward and trying to change the garbage in this world and I am not only talking about polution......

No wonder the world is such a mess!!

I tend to agree. Greed and love of money are at the root of all of it.

Good post. Global warming (last plague # 4) is definitely here.
Last year was the hottest year on record. And down here in south Texas it was the warmest winter ever. It never got below freezing once.
