You are the one who raised the challenge by claiming the GL is allowing your lodge to operate in a forbidden manner. That you again fail to follow through is nothing new, and is one of the reasons I am doubting that you are a 'regular' Mason. Of course we're happy to know you feel that way. It reminds me of my own experience. I didn't grow up knowing grandpa to be a Mason, or anything like that. But in business, I used to work with all sorts of people, and a shockingly high percentage of the "civic leader" types were personable cheats and double-crossers, cutting corners with every law they could get around, etc. The few I knew to be Masons impressed me by NOT being that way, and in a very quiet way. None ever told me that they were going to be doing a great thing by not acting like all the others, and none ever said that their actions were because they were Masons or part of some movement that was supposed to go around helping the world, like certain church groups. But there was a difference, and it made an impression on me, persuading me that the good things about Masonry I'd read about weren't exaggerations.Yes, seriously.

If that is the stumbling block, just know that in most situations you are only required to believe that a supreme being of some sort exists. Bearing that in mind, simply recall the incident when Jesus Christ encountered the madman controlled by "Legion". Legion's voice cried out, "What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God?"
So you see, eudaimonia, as a rule, it is not required that you believe in God; only that you believe a supreme being exists. Matter of fact, in any instances where a Mason might claim you have to believe in the True and Living God who is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, you are quite free to lie about it if you so desire.

You know I have to say I greatly appreciate the efforts of Skip and Duane to show non-Masons just how bizarre anti-masonic thinking is. You all are doing a great job recruiting for us.
Actually, what is bizarre is Simpleman's obsession with tarring and feathering Skip Sampson. According to Simple, E5-11 and EMFJ are cults, therefore Skip belongs to a cult. Simple's simple problem, aside from the fact that neither of those counter-cult ministries are cults, is that Skip is not a member of either of them. The only organization I am aware of that Skip is a member of is his church, so it is obviously Skip's church, ergo the Southern Baptist Convention, that Simpleman considedr as being a cult.
If you say this is wrong, is it also YOUR position that the SBC is a cult? Confession time.
I think he's confused about many things; perhaps the SBC might be one of them. I think he's mainly trying to make the case that we are both members of a cult, though I doubt if he could even provide a workable definition of the term. Moreover, how am I a member of the EMFJ "cult" if I'm not a member of EMFJ?
