BINGO. But some are also very adept at weaving subtle bullying and flames into what appear to be "innocent questions" and wheedling out of it when called out on it. And some just plain lack the native intelligence to hold those types of discussions in the first place -- it's impossible to reason with anyone who doesn't at the very least comprehend the difference between axiomatic assumptions and the theological structures built on top of them.

I logged on today, and I'm speechless. Feel like a pile of marbles is in my gut rolling around, and I just want to cry.

All the other changes I could see- but this one... I'm not feeling the peace of God in my heart on this one.

Yes, there are many "good" Christians that will not make it, but that's another discussion, and not one I'm up to debate here.

It is a need I have in my life right now. I need to grow. Since the changes here I have not been able to do that here. For the past couple of months being on this forum has been about defending my faith, not growing my faith.

I don't think thats the intent of it, though, when I seen the christian forum area shoved to the bottom, I started to question, if this was going to be a slow process of removing God from the forum?

Only if they think of it that way. Christians are to have faith and face this in God's grace rather than focusing on the problems. We are to focus on the solutions in God.

It would be a meaningless statement that adds nothing to the discussion apart from negative emotions. That person could just as well say the same thing to you. And how would that make a meaningful discussion?

Translated to mean that you can now have fellowship with the same people Jesus did in 30 AD.

All hands stand by for a new learning experience ... this change has nothing to do with money.

This change is for people to see Jesus in us ...

You and others miss the point about the name change. Most christians are into outreach and witnessing about our Lord in the real world where we can witness in action, and as the Lord leads. The old CF was not specifically about outreach, it was there, yes, if you knew you were led by the Lord into posting an outreach to someone, but for many this place is about fellowship. Many people in here are home bound (sick and disabled) and can't get to church so for them this place is their church and the means for fellowship with other christians. Forums should not be JUST for outreach. So if the name suggests nothing at all to do with Christ then people will go elsewhere.

As I said before I would only have given this place one glance if I was searching for a Christian forum and gone on. I'm not interested in social clubs on the internet to witness about Jesus. I'll do that in real life.
