I am reading a cool book. But it gets into all the scholastic and spiritual /mystical debates that went on before the reformation. All that about faith, logic ,creation, how to approach scripture. Seriously, we all need to study some history where all our debates were done in the past

1) It's not just the jet stream.
2) And what causes the jet stream?

Now that question has a two-part answer. I'll give you half that answer: The Coriolis Effect. Now wanna take a stab in the dark as to what causes the Coriolis Effect?

Even by answering "jet stream" you are, in fact pointing to the earth's rotation. Without the earth's rotation, there'd be no jet stream.

On a stationary earth the time to travel east -> west and west -> would be the same, assuming no other variables, such as weather.

The earth God created is not only flat but stationary. Earth in The Bible means land/ground and not a water covered space ball with land scattered around it. The creation God created is covered by a raqia (dome) that is separating waters from waters. Genesis plainly states that God placed the sun, moon and stars in the raqia. so these light are not millions of miles away. Plus they move over the earth giving light.

Sciences creation version is simply a big ole lie.

You look outside and see a moon that is 230,000 miles out in space. I look outside and see a moon placed in the raqia just like is stated in The Bible.
