However, the AiG organization is making the same kind of error the flat earthers do - using the Bible in a wrong way (trying to force science into it).

The only difference being that AiG tries to get the age and the process of creation from the text, instead of the shape like flat earthers.

Its even in their name - Answers (meaning scientific answers) in Genesis.

Yes true, but there is enough in there to convince people that the universe is not a dome over a flat earth. I’m happy enough with that.

I am around, but i have been trying to teach Biblical sense to God believing globe earthers since 2017. I have basically said all i can say, if a person can not believe the words of God in The Bible. Plus what they see on a daily bases, there may be no hope for them. At least now in the age of satan and deception/lies.

I mean The Bible is fully able to make people (especially born again believers) capable of discovering satans deceptions. One just has to believe The Bible's creation accounts and creation descriptions recorded in The Bible.

I find the same mind set from people who believe. That it takes more than belief in Jesus to receive God's free gift of Eternal Life and become a permanent born again child of God.
People who believe they can receive God's free gift of Eternal Life by actions they do like obedience, repentance, being baptized, taking of the Lords supper, keeping man made laws or God's law, etc.. Just as in most cases, these people can not see it is by simple belief/faith in Jesus, they say it is faith plus other actions that give salvation.

Or just like the Jewish leaders who rejected Jesus as the promised Messiah. Jesus and even the miracles He did could not convince many, He was The promised Messiah from The Tanakh. Even though what Jesus did perfectly lined up with Scripture, it just did not line up with man's created idea of what The Messiah should have been.

So just like what science has drilled into man's/women's brain since age 3 or 4. Is hard for most to break away from, because what is written in God's word does not line up with what their secular education has taught them. Some can break away, but most can not, their trust in science is too great.

Do you realize that the more you talk about your fantasies, while even children are recording the earth from space, the less you are credible.

Nobody is buying "NASA/science deception drilled into our brains" anymore. More and more people go in space, more and more common people work in space industry, use satellite services, learn how it works etc. No huge conspiracy is possible.

Its as silly as repeating bacteria do not exist while anybody can buy a microscope and see.

We’re talking about the current earth, the one that will have passed away by the time the new Jerusalem arrives, even if you take the Book of Revelation in a literal way. You’ve a bad habit of mixing up verses and contexts. And if you have something to say then have the decency to say it directly instead of using triangulation of a third party. Easy, it does not. The book of Revelation is metaphorical, not literal. Its so obvious that nobody can dispute that. You are, again, making the error of mixing real, physical world (like the globe) and a metaphorical literature.

If you are so easily debunked regarding so many things you believe to be important, how can people take you seriously when you present Christianity to them?

DT, I never met a flat earther before, though I think a friend of mine has a sister who is. I have a few questions.

1. How flat is the earth? I can see hills and valleys.
2. Are all the other planets in our solar system flat also?
3. How about the sun and the mood, are they flat also?
4. Are Earth, moon, sun, and other planets disk shaped?
5. How thick is the earth?
6. What's on the bottom side?
7. Why can't we go there?
8. If an airplane flies around the earth, is it temporal distortion that fools the pilot and the instruments into thinking that the earth is round?
9. If there are edges, where exactly are they?
10. What keeps the oceans from draining off the edge?

I have other questions, but this is a good start.

2- They are not planets, they are stars (some wondering)

No it’s not, a tent is something you go into, not something you stay in front of. That’s why is called a tent and not a dome. Remember the tent is for the sun and nothing else. And v5 describes what the sun will be like coming out of its tent:

“Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.”

And while we’re at it, where are the chariot clouds and the wind wings where God stands & walks?

Yes you’re right, Satan has no bounds. He gets people to believe in conspiracy theories instead of God’s Word. He also gets people to read books outside of Scripture & treat them as Scripture.
