What do you think qualifies evolution as a fairytale?

It's past ---

I've seen evolution taught as man coming from rocks, the ocean, space seeds, apes, monkeys, orangutans, and chimpanzees.

I've been taught there's a complete skeleton from a pig's tooth, amino acids in a laboratory from gas and electricity, and dinosaurs died out before man came on the scene.

Something I think the Lord brought to my attention recently, is the fact that everytime someone shows a picture of a cross-section of rocks, or fruit, or whatever --- it has to be interpreted.

I don't get stuff like, "See this rock? It pwns creation."

I get stuff like, "See this rock? It's 90-million years old. Thus it pwns creation."

Discovery magazine once pointed out that if you take a rock to the Smithsonian Institution (or anywhere), and ask them to date it; one of the first questions they ask is, "What period are you expecting?"

There's no need to believe "in" evolution since it is a demonstrable fact which can be tested for so that our knowledge of it can be measured for accuracy objectively. And since there are no magic spells or talking animals in any aspect of evolution, as there are in most fairytales including Genesis, then exactly what do you think qualifies evolution as a fairytale? And do please be specific.

God EXPECTS us to judge them by their fruits. He expects us to prove the spirits and NOT to just swallow every thing a person says.

In the Old Testament when He said NOT to take the Name of the Lord in vain He wasn't talking about swear words He was talking about people who SAY they are Christians or God's people or have a word from Him but lie and live contrary to Him.

Jer 14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

Of course. They need to use the proper tools for the proper age. You can't measure the width of a hair with a yard stick and you can't date young samples with K/Ar dating. I don't see why this is a problem.
