So the purpose is to get to heaven to be with God... a reality which he could have actualized to the benefit of all involved... yet chose not to.

God created us with the opportunity to have free will.
God prefers the love of those who choose to love Him
through free will rather than slavery. This option brings
death to man, so God devised a solution to free will.

Ok, but again, do we or don't we have free will in heaven? I assume that you believe we will. I assume you also believe that we won't use that free will to sin. So then I am left asking, "Why not just create us that way from the start?"

If you don't hold these assumptions I've saddled on you, please correct me.

I don't see the relevance.

Suffering is due to pain. Pain is what keep your heart beating and urges you to take a breath.

Nonsensical.

You must be able to see better than God can both the past and the future.
I think not likely.

If God answers my question I'll share that here, but the track record is centuries of dead silence. So in the mean time I'm asking you all.

So your answer is that you don't know the purpose of our existence? Thanks.
You have a good imagination. Is it common for you to do this. You know, take other peoples answers and create a fabricated explanation that you would be pleased with?

I'm not asking why he didn't just obliterate us. I'm asking why the earth phase couldn't have just been skipped entirely since that would seemingly be in everyone's best interests (including God).

Matthew 26:39.
He was 100% man 100% deity essentially the son of god. That was just the man part of him crying out. The man/flesh was going to die on the cross and it knew it. The spirit being was going to come up and resurrect.

Clearly we know God wanted this to be done... if he didn't we wouldn't hear so much about this in the OT.

Also I don't believe it was in his best interest to skip the Earth phase... partly becuase he didn't do it but because partly a lot of people would choose him. Sure as I stated already some choose hell but some choose God. Since many would still choose him there's no reason to skip the phase. Also If you read the bible God continued to make salvation easier as time went on... until the period we live in now where it's easier then it's ever been.. Like there's no reason to reset... it's so simple what to do and it's summarized in acts 2:38..

Also I think you mean it's in the best interest of people not including christians tbh for Earth to be reset. I wouldn't say it's in every human beings interest.

Also not sure what you even mean by skip the phase though... like you can't just skip to heaven...someones gotta end up up there.

Sinning in Heaven is not an option. Sin is separation from God.
That is not an option in Heaven because you are there.

Maybe that is logically incoherent? Perhaps something about the process of fall and redemption adds something to us that would not be possible if we were simply created unable to sin. Like the free-will desire to love. Love requires risk and freedom. Being made never to sin wouldn't allow for that.
