Those Christians are needed in Syria, to do what we are all called to do; be a Light and a witness. They possibly have skills, desperately needed there, does America, or New Zealand too, need more doctors or architects?
Arab Christians in Iraq and Syria have faced "extermination" under ISIS. International Aid Organizations and the U.N. have documented mass executions and mass grave sites, kidnappings of women and children, slavery, robbery, rapes, torture and individual execution of Arab Christians by crucifixion and beheadings carried out publicly by Islamist extremists.
Beheadings and immolation (death by fire) have been filmed by so called "independent journalists" known as "white helmets" (who are actually Jihadist propagandists). A white helmet (journalist ?) recently filmed someone being burned alive in a cage, and a Christian boy having his head sawed off bent over the tailgate of a pick-up truck. Does that sound like legitimate journalism to you ?
Christians fleeing Syria and the many internment camps set up throughout the Middle East and Southern Europe are
not "economic" refugees.. They are by definition of International law and the laws of the U.N. "
asylum" seekers trying to escape "religious"
persecution.
In the best of circumstances, sending them back to these countries results in permanent
confinement in "camps" where they face malnutrition, disease, brutality and exposure to winter conditions with inadequate shelter. In the worst case scenario, they will fall into the hands of Islamist extremists who have infiltrated these refugee camps, or ISIS fighters still roaming the countryside of Syria and Iraq. Either way, they're probably looking at a
death sentence.
I seriously doubt
any Arab Christians in these internment camps are currently practicing their professions as architects, engineers, educators, or doctors. How could they under those conditions ? They would be signing their own
death warrant. Do you think the Islamist extremists in the camps are going to allow a Christian doctor to treat anyone ?!
