Rant? You call conducting the "Ring" a rant? You, you, well, I just don't know what to say. Anyhow who cares? I got 29 curtain calls. Well, I mean the principles did. We hardworking conductors, slaving away down in that huge pit, just don't get the recognition we deserve. Always the last ones brought up on stage to bow. and get some applause. If the principles have any of their applause left over. And the nerve. They had the Valkyries come down the pit and escort me on stage. Incidentally, I'll be air conducting a complete performance of "Gotterdammerung" this evening. Gotta fly.

I admit I tend to ignore Dad, though I do not place anyone on ignore sInce that seems rude. Unfortunately more than anyone else all you get argueing with Dad is a headache

So just where is this block, Dad? What authority do you have here to impose anything like that in the first place? Like I say, you need to chill out, take some serious comic-relief time off. I recommend going online to youtube and listening to the entire "Ring Cycle." It's only a mere 22 hours long in performance.

I'm doing just fine, AV1611. I'm air conducting a complete performance of "Gotterdammerung" at Bayreuth this evening. And lest you think I am totally joking, I am not. I formally studied symphony conducting. I do take breaks, go to youtube, and check out my favorite classical pieces and air conduct to them. Some play air guitar; I air conduct. We've had this kind of discussion already. I've done the prayers, even the specific one you told me to do. Nothing happened. I ask, but there is no answer. The word is a translation of a title that means "twilight of the gods". The fact that it sounds awkward to an English speaker is just a coincidence.

I entertain myself with google translate, using from English to German. Some of the terms are just so... blunt. Type in "birth control pill", and you will see what I mean.

Sorry dad, you were the one that said that he wanted to learn. You have to put your money where your mouth is. It is just a short video, watch the video or don't complain when I point out the fact that your side lost over 100 years ago.

At least you quoted properly that time. Now you and I both know that you will never understand your Bible or science. So one question, since you obviously have no valid reasons for your beliefs why do you believe what you believe?

I suggest not being vague with your suggestions, and that you not imply that I am potentially not asking sincerely. The fact that I have persisted this long wouldn't make much sense if I wasn't sincere. I don't expect fireworks or some miracle to happen. I have no expectation, beyond that something happen, and that could literally be just me suddenly being a believer for no apparent reason. Thus far, there just hasn't been any sort of response, big or small. Even childish prayers I had as a kid had a remarkably low return (as a young kid, if I had lost something, praying to god would be a sort of last resort after I was out of ideas. Never believed, but anything is worth a try). Basically, if I ever got to the point when I was that young and naive that I would pray for help or hope, all was truly lost.

Also, I have read the bible before. I don't do it repeatedly in sequence, because reading it is what solidified my atheism into this nearly invincible mental monster. Recommendation: if you want belief, don't read the bible for the first time by yourself as an angsty, distraught 13 year old.

I do believe that the block actually applies to dad himself. Please note that he claims that "some posters have been noted over a long period of time for being unwilling to rationally discuss Scripture". I have always discussed scripture rationally with him, and if anyone has blasphemed it was always dad since he made some pretty bad claims about his version of God. He surly would not break the rules here and make false claims about me, now would he?
